😬Superman get's tagged and fight's like a brick far more often than he does this hypothetical speed blitzes.
If it happens so often, I don't see how you can write it off as PIS. At this point, it's the norm.
Thats when you have to ask yourself "why"?
Why does someone who has super speed, can move so fast he can perceive everyone else is moving in slow motion, combined with extreme reflexes and senses, allow himself to be hit by a punch that he can see swinging at him slowly. In superspeed mode, he would probably look like a dumbass just staying there for minutes not moving out of the way.
Theres a contradiction there, can you come up with another reason other than PIS?

Stalemate him in what, a battle? Sure. If Sentry can do it, why is it so far fetched that Thor can? From what I understand, Sentry was actually put in Thor's place as the main fight.
Marvel should give Pak more free reign. I'd like to see a co-written Fraction/Pak Thor vs. Hulk comic.
First and foremost, the battle should take place in some lifeless Universe Thor transported them to. That way, we'd get planet shattering action.

Okay, is it something reasonable to believe though?
Superman has superspeed, and he damn well knows it, he knows if he uses it he will likely win.
At times, his life, or the lives of others are on the line, yet he still doesn't use it, is he really that stupid?
If you think about it, you'd have to be REALLY REALLY REALLY retarded not to use your speed.
Its like this, if I gave you the powers of superman, and you had to face Hulk right now, wouldn't you use your max speed? Its not like a genius move or anything. I mean any person with average intelligence would use it.

Then assume Superman's mentally challenged if it helps you sleep at night. I don't care.
Thor doesn't use his more versatile powers out of honor, as he likes to give his opponents a fighting chance and likes to challenge himself. I'm not sure what reasoning was given for Superman.
Mental blocks? 😱
If I had Superman's powers, I'd fly into the Sun, super charge myself, and then put my fist through Hulk's face.
Anyways, I gotta go eat.

Looks like Captain Obvious isn't too the rescue smart arse. Even if it was originally written that Thor was supposed to stalemate WWH it don't mean a god damn thing until it happens.
Anyway I think confident Sentry > Thor.

Care to point out where I ever claimed it does? I simply brought up the original outline, so as to show that the notion of Thor or Superman taking on the Green Scar is far fetched like some people would like to believe.
You can keep thinking that all you want. Doesn't mean it's true. Not when it comes to hero mode Sentry -post Jenkins- anyways. We saw Blue Marvel pushing him to his limits and while the Void was in control, Thor at the very least proved he was on the Sentry's level in power in the first issue of Siege. Which would make sense seeing the comments made by characters regarding Thor/Sentry leading up to Seige. Taking him on when the Void was beginning to manifest itself even physically doesn't hurt either.
