She smiled, sensing his want, and slowly her form changed. Once she had stopped growing, she wrapping her arms around his neck and kissed him passionately. "Fine then.. When I'm alone I lay my hand on that orb you gave me. It's in my hut... Mordeth will never find it... Now go before he returns." She kissed him again, this one was quicker, and stepped away, quietly watching him with love in her eyes and a smile on her face.

''I love you'' he said, before dissapearing in the ground.

He felt anewed. Another person. Stronger, now that he knew she was by his side.

As he returned to Sicilia, he laid on the grass and thought about her.

Soon he drifted to sleep, thinking about Gean, her looks, her smell. But the dream soon got disturbed by his future tasks. He did what he had to in hell. Now he looked to heaven. He needed to act on the second half on his plan.

A dark apparition appeared before him, emanating a great emptiness that seemed to consume all his ecstasy and joy. The voice was harsh, curt, and stern, "I did not die that you may concentrate on your own confused emotions." An invisible force struck Ezekiel in the abdomen knocking out all of his wind, "focus on the task at hand. Divide and conquer or unite and convert. Your emotions were laid out that you may not be confused by them," another blow struck his head spinning his world around, "do not make me regret having died for you. Do not make me take this away!" and suddenly a feeling like no other ripped and tore at Ezekiel from the inside destroying his souls connection to this newfound ability. And with every tear came an indescribable pain. Suddenly the pain ceased and the air lost slowly returned to fill Ezekiel's lungs, "we do not die, us hybrids, because death is a mortal's plague. But we suffer a fate worse then death. Sink not into this ocean, lest you drown."

The cloaked figure faded away and Ezekiel opened his eyes to awaken from this nightmare.

As he awoke, Ezekiel took conscious of the gravity of the dream. He then shrugged in silence.

''My objectives are unchanged, unite and convert will be done. But it is because my emotions are lied in front of me that I am not confused anymore. I love Gean, and always will.''

He then closed his eyes again. Was this pain he felt real. What had just happen? Could his soul really be taken away by this creature he fused with? He could not let that happen. One day he would find a way to master this beast inside him.

serg's eyes began to close as darkness fell over them. he started a fire in the center of the clearing to keep them warm. as he slowly fell into a deep slumber, he kept watch of kai and shadow.

Nex put the heavy book down. His library was dark and silent...a small candle occasionally broke the silence when melting wax would let off a faint pop. Nex pulled his hood down and let his hands run over his skull...as a human might run theirs through their hair.

He pulled the hood back up, turned on his heel and started to walk...slowly he disappeared.

When Nex came into focus again he was back in the Vatican- where his mission had begun. He slowley climbed the stairs leading to the apostolic palace and as he walked his appearence changed. He no longer looked like the traditional Grim Reaper but was now a middle aged man with jet black hair dressed in a black cassock with red piping. He had assumed the avatar of a Cardinal.

Kaiisura slowly smiled at him, "I hope it doesn't... I don't want us ending up like Iofiel and Shagrath." she said to him.

(ok...)

A chill ran up his spine at the mention of Shagrath's name. He'd heard it many times recently, and was even embarking on the same path in more recent days. He nodded silently as he fell asleep, wondering if Shagrath had truly been the one behind Iofiel's death, or if some sort of foul play had been involved...

An angel raced down for heaven and ran into Nakirs tent, where he found a medic stitching up a steaming gash in her back. "Nakir! I have important news from- Dear God what happened?!" She winced and glanced back a the messenger. "Demon trickery... What do you want" He wound was burning her flesh from the demonic blade that was embedded in her back. "The key to heaven's gates was stolen! Our watch man was found dead!" Nakir rubbed her eyes and sighed. "Very well.. Round everyone up. I need to speak with my men." The messenger nodded and took off towards Kiiasura's locations, following her angelic aura.

(arrrrrgh, I be requirin' a recap pirate2 )

Saizure smirked, "What did you have in mind?" he asked.

Kaiisura looked at Serg, "What is it you want from us?" she asked.

Salmo cleared his throat like a teacher preparing to give a long lecture. "languorwine is an incredibly potent and intricate nerve toxin that feigns all the effects of death. The subject infected with the poison will remain in a stasis-like state until the antidote is given. My plan is to poison you, take your corpse to Kaiisura, then send you to hell, where I shall give you the antidote at a later time, after I kill Kaiisura and Nakir. So, what do you say? are you in?"

nope not yet))

Mordeth walked along Behemoth, slowly entering a city. he knew how Gean felt for Ezekiel, even though he felt for her more than anyone. he left a letter with a messenger to give her right away. the letter read:

"To my dearest Gean,
i know how you feel for the half-breed. i have eyes everywhere and what they reveal are not lies, but the plain truth. i want you to know that when we were first assigned to each other i felt a feeling i never had before. besides the warming of my heart, there was another stronger than i ever felt. after a year or two with you, i realised that it was love. i always wanted to tell you how i felt but thought that our positions would get in the way and plus the fact that i'm a cold hearted bastard. but now i'm gone from the wrath of Satan and Ereshkigal, away from home and away from you. i took my weapons and Behemoth to keep me company. i'm not going back to the land of confused feelings, for it would bring me a death worse than being slain by an angel. if you want to see me, just feel for my heart, its love for you will never die. but the hope of being with you has. but be warned, if you bring that half-breed bastard, i promise with all of my ice-cold heart that he will die by my blades personally. you will hear about me and from me. until we see each other.

Love,
Mordeth, Arch Demon"

Mordeth smiled as he entered the city and looked at Behemoth. "well old buddy, i say you get the center, northeast, and nothwest of town. i'll cover the rest. and leave no one alive. they al will perish." he laughed and ran into the slaughter

Gean smile and returned to her normal size, slowly making her way around the room. Sh saw the letter, sitting on the floor beside her hut, and made her way over to read it. Her jaw dropped and a second wing suddenly popped out from her back. Quickly she flew to earth, following Mordeths heart.

Mordeth licked the blood off his blades and smiled as Behemoth tore away flesh from the mortals on the ground "good boy. we did a fine job for our first day as rogues. we should hurry and find another city. the word will travel fast by the angels watching above." he got up and slipped his trench back on, waiting for Behemoth to catch up

Gean flew as fast as her little wings would let her go. By the time the town was completely slaughtered she'd arrive to see Mordeth licking his blade. As she flew at him she changed into her larger form, tackling him to the ground and pinning him down. She looked down at him, panting heavily. "You... You fool."

Mordeth quieted a growling Behemoth, throwing Gean off of him "fool? me? i guess i am. i mean to let my heart fall for you. and anyway, why would you care what i do now? your with that half-breed." he sheathed his scimitars in his trench and shook his head, ready to walk away. "why? why did you come to me?"

She skidded a ways after he threw her off. She winced and pushed herself into a sitting position. "No... You're a fool for leaving, and not telling me how you felt." She wiped some blood from her lips, having bitten her tongue when he threw her off.

Mordeth laughed "really? is that why i'm a fool? becuas ei left Hell and didn't tell you how i felt about you?" he put his pentagram back around his neck and turned back around "so tell me, why did you come to me after you expressed your feelings for that bastard?"

She stood and pushed her hair out of her eyes. "Mordeth, stop this. Please come back." She took a step towards him and reached for his hand.
