STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Learner

Finding the other entrances will take time, and what if you can't find one with less droids? There are about thirty here.

Yeah, that's why I'm thinking the second might be a better idea.

Is there any debris or anything that can be thrown around with the Force (and actually potentially do damage)?

Does Rianna have Throw? Otherwise it will be a matter of Push/Pull or Lift, but it won't hurt anyone and it will be slow.

Throw? She does not, but she does have Lift, Bash, and Push/Pull.

Really I just want to use it to try and pull them away from the entrance. Actually damaging them isn't necessary, but they should at least notice they're under attack and hopefully go and investigate. If we can pull them off and sneak down, then yay. Otherwise if we can draw off small groups which Rianna can then cut down with her saber, that'll work too.

Luring battle droids is an idea! It'll be a Force roll to see if tossing junk at the droids gets some to break off and check it out.

And that's the only problem, that Rianna is not great with the Force. However, it's the best idea I can think of. And Ciira's good with the Force 😛

Ciira will do it, if you prefer. I will admit that she has had some rather good rolls in her displays of Force power, unlike you, but she is actually not much farther along than you. Great for a very young Padawan, obviously.

She's still better at it, and then Rianna can sneak and attack (which she is better at) 😛

In that case, Ciira will round the corner to perform the distraction while Rianna lays in wait for her prey. That sound good?

Yup, sounds good. Though Rianna will remind Ciira that she should probably perform her distraction from cover.

Ciira initiates the distraction by stepping out into the street, in plain sight of the droids. She uses a Force push to lay flat two droids.

"Hey! Droids! Come get me!"

She quickly dashes behind cover as shots are fired. Sure enough, the droids do not want to abandon their post and so send five battle droids to apprehend her.

The dice are feeling nice this time. Your Intrusion check gets a 12, and the droids do not see you as they march in.

As soon as the droids have passed her, Rianna will hop out of her hiding spot and attack, snapping attacks on two of the droids and actively dodging any attacks coming at her.

Caught unawares, you take down those two with a pair of 8's and can go after the next three before they fire!

Excellent. Rianna will continue snapping attacks on the droids until they are down, attacking them with quick slashes of her lightsaber.

A pair of 9's and a 20! With a few agile flips of your lightsaber, the droids are dismantled.

So that brings us down to about 23 droids there?

Out of curiosity, how far are we from where the droids are anyway? Not that I think we'll really need to do much to keep luring them over at this point, but still.

Yes. You are down the street from the droids, in an alley.

The droids are not being lured, their mandate to protect the entrance overriding their hunter-killer programming. They stand rigid, but for one. The battle droid brings an arm up to its vocoder.

"Unit 1138, respond," crackles the message from the arm-mounted communicator on one of the droids at your feet.

Are they close enough for a Saber Throw?

"Oh, they won't be responding..." Rianna says, kicking away the droid communicator by her feet.

The droid waits a moment before he says something else.

"Unit 1214 at Point AR. The Jedi have arrived. Requesting reinforcements."

Uhoh.

Ahh, that's no good.

I'm wondering if there's a way we can use this to our advantage. My hope is that the reinforcements would be pulled from another entrance. But we don't even know where any other entrances are, do we?
