And how far would you rate DE Sidious over his RotS incarnation in terms of speed?

Not very. He has new techniques at his disposal and appears to have increased the potency of his lightning to freakish heights, and with his new youthful body he's probably notably stronger and more agile, but I was never given the impression that he's become considerably faster or more skilled - the latter probably peaked in the PT era.

Anyway, it's not like he needs much more speed. With few exceptions, he's the fastest bastard in the saga as of RotS.

Well, he increased in force potency and now has a more fit, strong body, and I think it's logical that he would increase in speed. It was said that he could move beyond what the eye could perceive- not a blur, not anything.

But, I guess you're right. I would say he is faster, but not by some humongous bit. I believe that Sidious, Yoda, and NJO Luke are somewhat at a stalemate for the fastest being in SW (Though Luke is obviously the most overall powerful).

By the way, I think you should include Bane in tier 2 for your list. Just to make it complete. You would agree that he's tier 2, right?

Probably, yeah. That'd be a certainty if it weren't for the inconsistencies between PoD and RoT, but taking his showings into account it's more than likely.

Bane sucks, though. Uber-powered, cunning, obsessive, sure. The orbalisks and seven-foot stature push him into the realm of fan-service.
