Indeed, what line of abilities did each of your characters have by the end? what difficulty were you playing on and finally, when you went Arcane warrior with your character, what items did you use? I find it hard to find good +attack, I miss quite often on higher level entiities even if I am nigh invulerable myself.

Played on Normal.
Gave Morrigan Spirit Healing and Wynne Arcane Warrior in compliments to their other specialization. They kept me healthy and held their own whilst I dealt the thundah.
I had Morrigan specialize in ice and electric attacks, while Wynne was my primary healer that specialized in creation abilities. I gave both abilities in entropy.
Shale was simple enough to use. Give her abilities to draw attention and tank. She's awesome.
Myself, I focused primarily on ice attacks (Cone of Cold FTW) and a mixed bag, really.
Of course, the perks of Arcane Warrior I've maxed as well as Blood Mage abilities.
I like a.o.e. attacks. I.e. Blizzard, Blood Wound and Death Cloud. I just hit 'em with Cone of Cold (or Grease) if they get too close and get some distance so I can cast large a.o.e. attacks, while picking enemies off from afar while Shale tanks.
I had/have a bit of everything. I focus on slowing/stopping enemies with freezing or paralyzing attacks. I use Crushing Prison on more powerful enemies.
I don't have a lot of armor/defense so I play pretty timid.
I wear/use Senior Enchanter Robes, Bards Dancing Shoes, Ashen Gloves, Libertarians Cowl, Staff of the Magister Lord, Andruil's Blessing, The Spellward, Key to the City and Morrigans Ring.
Still playing the same game. Loaded a file just before going to the Landsmeet and leveling up/gaining new abilities.
Nice, I usually trade off the Senior mages robes for the Tevinter mages robes for the sake of the combat mana regen. But I use Cinerfall gloves, by the sounds of it the Ashen gloves are the +10% to fire damage ones?
Playing through on Nightmare now, Ive only just come out of the harrowing but I plan on useing my skill points perfectly e.g. Wynn has Earth attacks so dont use Earth attacks on anyone else. I fill up the more useful skills while not wasting skill points on having some characters with double skills (unless their good skills). Morrigan, Wynn, Shale and me as a mage will be my group. I will not have a tank.
All i must say is that Hard mode was easier even than normal, maybe because I had a better group or knew what I was doing, by the end of it I had about 300-400 gold not used after buying magisters lord staff and spellward.

On another note, just finished the Warden's Keep level. That armour is gorgeous, and coupled with the helm from the fourth revenant during the elven quest, my guy is a monster.
still can't decide between alistair and shale as my second tank, though... 🙁
I always used Allistar. Don't know why, maybe out of habit.
Anywhoo, finally beat the game. The archdemon wasn't that hard but unlike previous dragons you can face, I had alot of help.
I must say that I'm looking forward to the sequel. I'm hoping you get the travel all around the world instead of just Ferelden.
Been playin' this game day in and day out. School starts Monday, again. Sucks. Won't have much time.
Like the game, so far.
I don't like how...scattered and disorganized the missions are. I want 2 or 3 missions and that's it. I don't like that Lothering got consumed before I could finish one or two side quests. Other than that, I've been able to do all side quests just fine, so far.
I'm only like at 35% exploration. Most gold I've ever had: 21. I can't ever get enough gold.
I'm playing as the noble human warrior.
I've bedded Morrigan and I'm about to drop her and pick up with Leliana...just to simply have done it, literally.
Like others have said, the dialogue is better than other games like this. You can tell they spent hours upon hours of mapping out proper dialogue trees. I noticed early on, though, that some responses are the same no matter what you say...meaning that some of the options are just there to read and be amused by, but are completely useless.
I do NOT like the fact that you cannot have a threesome like you could in Jade Empire. That was one of the coolest things in Jade Empire. There's was no reason to force the player to have to choose like that. BOTH, damnit.
And, I was thinking about how lame and shafted gamers have it. You can watch a rated R movie with absurd amounts of nudity and s3x, but, you can't even have nudity in the s3x scenes in a rated M video game. I also find the bias towards video games when it comes to violence and s3x. Stupid. The older generation and the conservatives are blight (pun intended). I want game equality. Instead, we have to settle with two characters in vague camera angles, while wearing clothes. I actually lol'd at how cheesy and unrealistic it was.
Despite the odd s3x scene in underwear, still a good game.
