You can also reach the level cap in your first mission at Ostagar. If nobody knows how, just ask.

Talking about the darkspawn blood/warden documents glitch?

Yeah, but the problem with that is enemies scale up to your level and you wouldn't have the gear you would normally have had you leveled normally to face them.

No real reason to do it anyways. I would think it takes away from the game. Part of playing is leveling as you progress.

Yep, that's it.

Meh anyone who uses glitches is imo ruining the experience that the game is supposed to provide. Conserving resources is part of the game as it is with any limited resource game.

I guess if I hadn't bought some of the 100+ cost sovereign items I would have about 300+ gold atm.

Yeah, I just read about it when I was trying to see if I missed anything on the Warden's Keep DLC quest. And a lot of times, you get lucky and enemies drop some pretty decent armor.

You sit by? so you dont do much of anything? what kind of build is your character may I ask?

What diffrence does Nightmare have with hard mode? are there more enemies or are they just stronger? do they have new abilities or use their abilities in a different way?

On a side note, whats the best way to make some gold? I feel I rarely have enough, especially when I want to buy high tier items such as Magister lords staff, Ring of ages etc, is it even possible to equip your party with all the good gear, i barely managed to get all the arcane tomes of technique and the Magisters staff.

I sit by with a group of more than 6 because they end up attacking each other or constantly getting stunned and there isn't much for me to do lol.

I'm a tank build I put most of my point into strength and constitution with the rest in dexterity. Warcry buff, haste buff, attack damage buff, ect..all contribute nicely(mainly because my guy has a paralysis addon to his sword, so the faster I attack the greater the chance my target will be paralyzed). I also filled up the shield/defense skill tree.(so shield wall makes my guy immune to knockdown). Nothing unique really.

I don't know the difference I haven't played Hard mode, but I end up spending a lot of money on the raw materials for pots both mana and health.

Do all the side quests i suppose and save money..lol the DLC's also help. I honestly can't tell you I end up spending so much on pots anyway.

So what equipment do you use? on your characters?

Juggernought on my warrior (me if I go arcane warrior) and I use magister lords staff (costs 120+ gold or something but its worth it) when I play as my mage.

Although that does sound diffrent, personally I can get by most fights in hard mode without any use of pots, every so often I need to use a few mana pots as I am a 3 mage group but we can get by without having to spend on them.

I greatly disliked the gameplay style of it.

It's also sci-fi, which is another strike against it to me. And it was just another long line of games that claimed you could make decisions that actually changed how the story would play out and then did not actually do that.

ah. i liked the combat myself.

i love sci fi, so i can understand why i'd like it and you'd be against it.

some of your choices did have impact, though. not on a massive scale, sure, and not all the time, but there were a couple at least, i thought...

as for DAO, anyone want to let me know if Zevran is better than Leliana, or the other way around? I just got the guy and am doing the magical tower (though he's not in my party atm). which one is better, in people's opinions?

Personally I find Zevran more usefull in combat then I find Leliana, his CQC is usefull, his quick stun AoE spin, as is his Mark of Death. Leliana was to me more of a ranged fighter and I didn't really need that because I'm playing a Mage and always have either Wynne ore Morrigan with me. However she can lockpick which Zevran can't, but the solution is just to go back to whatever place with locked chest and reopen them with Leliana. However was I a Warrior I think I would use Leliana more.

I'm a warrior right now. I have Alistair and Morrigan with me. I need at least one other fighter, which means i have Alistair, and with Morrigan's cone lightning and flame thrower abilities, i'm not dropped her. that leaves one free spot...

Get Wynne for healing, althoughi f you want a rogue, get Zevran for damage, his skills are set up for dealing high melee damage. Although personally in my 3 mage play through I dont need much more firepower or defence so I just use leliana because she can open locks and I dont want to have to go back as utrigita said.

I use Leliana just to open chests and stuff.

Damn stone prisoner is broken, every time I talk to him I end up getting teleported to an area miles away from the camp but on the same map. (so its all pretty much black until you get near to the camps scenery) It acts as if youve only just approached him before hes activated. I am glad I dont intend to use him outside of speech but the loss of that is bad enough.

Warden Keep doesn't work for me either. I keep on talking to and he keeps on telling me he gave me the coordinates and nothing appears.

You're supposed to talk to Levi Dryden, then he vanishes from camp, and a yellow square labeled soldier's peak pops up at the top of the map.

And BT, you don't know what you're missing, Shale got me through a lot of tough battles simple on strength and constitution.

Ive used him in my first play through and he was powerful, fortunately I don't need him in this one, But its a damn shame it has broken....and all of a sudden, I hate it when games even though ive played them for a long while suddenly have this extremely annoying anomaly.

So even saves when you've already been using him have broken?? Sorry to hear it buddy.

Just finished the game last night.

I really enjoyed the writing and the delivery in this game. Had a lot of clever moments along with fairly in depth characters, particularly Morrigan.

The ending itself left more to be desired which has me anticipating the DLC and possible expansion packs, esp. concerning Morrigan.

I used Morrigan, Wynne and Shale, while playing as a arcane warrior/blood mage. Best possible combo if you ask me.

I occasionally had Allistar and Zevran in my party, but only for dialogue really. And I never used Leliana other than to go back to areas to open chests.

Sten is an *******, so I didn't care for him, nor was he a better option as a tank/warrior in comparison to Shale.

Oghren is enjoyable enough, but again, Shale is still choice.

The dog? Meh, he finds stuff and he's not that bad, but lacks dialogue so...

I'm just one for practicality I guess.

You now have to play the game 11 more times, and do each other story as a man/woman.

And a Dalish
City Elf
Human Noble
Dwarf Noble
Dwarf Commoner

It's not much, but the differences are enough to warrant several more play throughs just to see how reactions and the story differs.

I know. The map square does not show up.
