Film's been pushed back to Feb 2014 for release.

lol

Hopefully to sort out the design work after having seen reaction to the pics.

Yep. 👆

The original design was horrible, if we gotta wait longer for a better looking robocop then I welcome it

Me too. Even if they are refilming to make the silver/black armour the main armour rather than a 'Mk1 armour' on its way to being the black armour as main.. that would go some way to impress me as a fan.

Also if they lose the hand...total body prothesis..

I'm okay with an updated design as long as it resembles the original in some way.

Well the silver black new armour I liked.

But that generic garbage black batman look was awful, IMHO.
Totally un-Robocop.

i also liked the new silver/black armor.

agreed Robocop is in no way shape or form Batman, stupid move on their part

i hate, HATE that f*cking exposed hand..

An exposed hand doesn't make sense. Can't it be blown off easily?

Yeah...his right hand...

Looked pretty blown off here...

Someone on another msg board made a good point about the exposed hand.

It's to symbolise his last hold (no pun intended) on humanity by being able to hold/caress/ hug his wife one last time.

Maybe he loses it after?

Oh its cause of the wife? Well good job it was just his hand then.

If it's for some "to keep his humanity", then it's complete nonsense. OCP tried hard to rob Murphy of his humanity, to make him a product, to make him controllable.

That's besides the obvious vulnerability issue, might as well design a tank, but build it with a screen door.

Exactamundo.

When have you ever trusted Hollywood to give a "logical" reason to stupid things you see in movies these days?

That suit is totally badass. I wonder, however, if they can recapture the comedic aspect that made the original so successful.
