On the plus side...it would be good to see Michael Keaton back on the big screen.

Pretty sure Michael Keaton has been on the big screen recently.

WTF, I said I hoped they only used 0.5% of that concept, but instead they went full retard.

Reminds me a bit of the Crysis suit, but not in a good way.

I dunno, looks alright to me. A bit too sleek, but otherwise, kudos for not making a shot-for-shot remake.

Shame it wasnt a Robocop/Robocop hybrid.
The concept has sold out and become a follower, when it in it's individuality in the original film, it was a leader..

Watched a video interview with Peter Weller and they asked him about this remake.....Pete just says "that he wishes the film well"

if that robocop doesn't have the holster, then he is no robocop..

At this rate we'll be lucky if he still has the gun...

I more or less felt the same way about the new Dredd at first as everyone does now about this, but like Karl Urban's Dredd maybe the actual movie will end up surprising us in a good way. The new Robocop's mentioned cast gives me some hope for that at least.

This is way different from Dredd. The first Judge Dredd, although fun, was ultimately not very good and had tons of room for improvement. The original Robocop is simply great already. Dredd is the type of movie that needed rebooted. I think films that have potential to be good but were not executed well enough are the ones that need fixed, and therefore I'm fine with them being rebooted. Movies that are already great don't need rebooted. I guess I view reboots and remakes as ways of fixing movies.
