I think Harvey Dent would disagree with that
Yeah, he's a bad guy, but he's not doing around committing robberies and being a crime lord or doing things based on "2" or anything like that, which is what was suggested...
Basically what I meant is, he's not a "regular" criminal (he's not out to make money or anything like that)
He's a vigilante who uses a coin to decide whether to kill or not to kill... And now that he's killed basically everyone involved with Rachel's death, he really has no reason to come back... That's the point I'm making...
I honestly don't think he is dead. Batman didn't seem too torn up about it and neither did Gordon if he was. And I'd think Batman would be pretty upset being that he's the one who rushed him off the edge. If he is dead it makes the ending seem kind of weird to me. "Hey I killed him...but it's cool cuz I'm gonna take the rap for everything he did! Later yall!"

Just because he has no reason to come back doesn't mean he's dead...

And thats what i have been saying, unless someone like black mask appears there is no point to bring him back.

But Nolan's Two-Face isn't a criminal...
not yet but he could go bad.I would be really surprised if he isnt in the next film,it would be kinda pointless to have him become two face just to die at the end like that.I think they are just saying he is dead at the moment like they did with Gordon and he is alive and will be back and go bad in the next film.makes sense.

I think Two face is all locked up and getting healthy in Arkham Asylum. Makes perfect sense for him to be there and then escape to wreak havoc

But WHY would he do that? What reason does he have to become a crime boss or anything like that?
That'd be a completely different Two-Face from the one in TDK...
The whole Two Face dead/not dead thing reminds me very much of Harry Potter's Dumbledore being dead/not dead.
I think the man died. In Nolan-verse, he no longer has a purpose to live - he can't go back to being the everyday hero since he's killed people, and he can't go on killing people because he'd finished with everyone involved in Rachel's death. Which was his reason for not taking pain medication, not getting the skin-grafts, deciding on using the coin for the "death choice..."
Keep in mind that this is strictly from a Nolan-verse point of view. While the comic books and/or animated series may resurrect people from the grave, Nolan is nothing if not realistic. I just don't see him playing with necromancy.

That's what I've been saying... What reason does he have to come back if he's alive?
It'd make more sense if he was dead... His mission is completed...
