Two Face!

There's much more that can be done with Two-Face. He's Batman's second greatest enemy and to only use him once just wouldn't feel right.

I would say it was

Joker
Penguin
Riddler

seeing how much they appear and the like, i myself believe Riddler is Batman's second greatest villain.

Not Two-Face he ranks about 5th.

How?

I think so too. He's my second favorite. Batman's desire to save him and personal investment in him to me makes their rivalry all that much more intense

he probably somehow miraculously survived

in your opinion...

In MY opinion, Two-Face ranks #1... That's right, he's my favorite Batman villain of all time... With Joker in 2nd, Reaper in 3rd, Scarecrow in 4th, and Falcone (comic book version) in 5th...

Ya know i think Batman is the only comic hero who does not have a set ranking for his villains, i mean not like Spider-Man who has the Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Venom as his set top 3, i don't think you can ever really call the status on Batman's villains, although Joker is probably No. 1. In terms of what the majority of fans believe.

Yeah I think there really is little argument that Batman's number 1 enemy is the Joker.

Joker is the top villain, he's the one who's gotten inside Batman's head the most and has done the most damage to him. You can have your favorites, but there's no disputing that the Joker is his top villain and is the yin to his yang.

Joker's only considered number one because he's liked most.

Bane is the real # 1. He's broken the Batman's spine and will to live before. No other villain has really done **** to him.

No, that's just wrong...that's a pretty dumb way to look at it.

Joker:

He gets into Batman's head
He caused more grief to Batman
Him and Batman have a connection
Joker's been there since the start
He's Mental
He's unique or at least he was, he started the chaos of villains
He challenges Batman like no other villain
He makes Batman question himself
He gets under Batman's skin
Joker is also smart.

Bane:
He's smart
He broke Batman's back

apart from that one point (breaking Batman's back) Joker beats Bane in the villain category.

Eh, it has nothing to do with him being liked the most. Take the animated series for example, the Joker took Tim Drake, turned him into a little version of him, found out who Batman was, died, and came back 40 years later. He's the definition of evil and is the best supervillain of all time. Bane is a very impressive character, but he's mostly known for breaking Batman's back, the Joker has done a lot more and a lot worse than that. If you disregard the Joker is more vile than any other Batman villain you're more idiotic than you've already shown.

Neo, I love you. That's all I have to say after reading this post, I love ya.

Yeah, it's pretty much decided Joker's the most important villain in Batman's rogues gallery...

But I still prefer Two-Face...

They are almost tied for me, I like them nearly equally. Two-Face certainly deserves more recognition than he gets, as does a villain like Scarecrow.

Yeah, Two-Face, Joker, and Scarecrow are my 1, 2, and 4 villains, respectively...

I'm surprised at the almost non existent role Scarecrow had... If he and Two-Face could return (with plausible reasons, of course), and add in Black Mask (as much as I love the Reaper character, I doubt WB would let Nolan take a risk and use him), and you've got a great Batman movie right there...

Scarecrow would have a more plausible reason to return, because he was only captured. Most prolly he'll be in Arkham, and he could escape.

As for Two-Face, I pray he comes back, because he was brilliant in TDK, and would love to see more of him!

Scarecrow, Two-Face, and Killer Croc would be perfect or even the Riddler, Two-Face, and Killer Croc.

Does the Reaper really exist in DCU 'canon'? Wasn't that story 'retconned' in Infinite Crisis/ Zero Hour? Which was, for the record, an absolutely shite idea...

How can you classify which is canon or not in a business where so many stories are created?

I have no idea. Ask the jackasses who own DC Comics. I am pretty sure, however, that Batman: Year Two (and therefore, presumabely, Batman: Full Circle) were retconned following the events of, I think, 'Zero Hour'...
EDIT: Wikipedia says:
After the changes in DC continuity Zero Hour established, Year Two, Joe Chill´s death and The Reaper have been wiped out. Chill was back in continuity after 2005´s Infinite Crisis.

I assume that means the Reaper remains 'wiped out' but Chill exists. Shame.

I'm just saying, you can somewhat consider everything canon except for maybe stories that were actually made to be "What If" y'know?
