Guys, I have to withdraw from tourney stuff till Thursday at least. My favourite cat (Ill has seen his pics- I'm talking about red-furred one) got seriously ill. Really seriously.

So caring about the animal is more important for me now than debating about Emma Frost pwning Dark Angel in astral battle 😈

He. The name is Martik, short of Martin. He got flu (cats' version of it) and all the symptomes including coughing and high (40.3 degrees C, I don't know what would it be in Fahrengeit) temperature.

Anyway, since Digi has been so gracious, I think a "rain delay" is cool. Hope your cat gets better quickly. I remember when my sister's cat Muffassa got sick from eating something he found outside while I was taking care of him (she was off to school and couldn't keep a pet in the dorm) it was a pretty tense situation. He was acting very weirdly and threw up some pretty gnarly looking stuff mixed with grass and some slimey substance I'd rather not remember. I think he'd eaten some of the wild mushrooms that grow in the grass in my apartment complex sometimes (when the dog owners let their pets do their business in the lawn shrooms pop up). I know it's serious business. Keep us posted Charlotte.

I was working on a couple posts today, so I'm going to go ahead and post them tonight even with the delay. Charlotte's at 5 posts already to my 2, so I figure it'll be catching up more than anything.

And ill, just make sure we know when the new stopping day/time is when the match resumes. Thanks.

Well, today is day two, and the matches last 4, so 2 days will remain from when Charlotte clocks back in.

I have a question, are Pre-Crisis feats legal?

I have a question, what is spawn's actual tier level? standing up to lords of hell? In thier own wrealm? That is something silver surfer and thor can do.

Standing up to them does not mean I beat them, only that he has faced down greater magical foes than those presented by you.

Depends on whether or not the character's PC feats are canon. It varies based on the character.

For example, on my own team with Minion, KK's PC feats are canon, while the Marvels are not.

Only when character's haven't been personally ret-conned somehow, or undergone changes that invalidate earlier showings. But in general, yes.

This is why I am often afraid of really digging into DC verse. 😕 Marvel is also getting this bad, they cant even keep track of thier own continuity within a single comic.

I doubt there's need for big "rain delay". I'll be back in the saddle by tommorow's evening (aproximately 8 AM Thursday PST).
So there's no need for grand delays. I do appreciate that, though.

I have an announcement to make. I am contemplating in dropping out from this tournament, after my match with Fangirl.

Its not due to any forum politics, or forum drama. The problem is, I place much effort in my research, prep, and debating. And seeing as English is not my primary language, it takes more effort to apply myself. That and I suffer from ADD, late at night.

But I love these competitions, I give it my best. I love thinking out of the box, and I like to abuse characters, exploit weaknesses, and out right punish the misinformed. However I cant see myself applying myself, with the same level of quality posts in the coming months.

Quality posts, takes much time for me to write up. And free time, is becoming vary scarce considering all the other responsibilities I have to take care off.

I will let you guys know for sure if I drop out or not, some time vary soon. Thanks again for the competition, and I am sorry for the inconvenience.

PS - I know I can be aggressive, and act as an A-hole in a match. And to a certain extant, I am that A-Hole in real life. But that’s just the way I am, in a debate. When its all said and done, I just act this way to give my writing some flare.
