if that's the case you should find out asap if they are going to compete. i'm sure cdb and digi would like as much time as possible to prepare and with new years coming there won't be much time to get ready. i would also like to know--perhaps by tomorrow at the latest??--so that our own team knows whether or not we need to do a write-up this week. we've had plenty of delays already ill, i'd rather not wait around too long to find out if they are competing or not (no offense to smurph or bw . . .)
Leo and Scoob already whupped me. And it's not like we can change teams at this point. I'll compete in whatever is decided, but I'll be honest and say that I don't really see the allure in fighting Charlotte to get a rematch where I'm not going to have plans that are appreciably different from my first match with Scoob/leo. Tweaked, sure, but it's still the same teams.

In fact, the same team facing each other thrice in the tourney is stupid, so Digi has a point.
I'm in sort of PMS depression now, so maybe won't be clear, but having the same scenario being presented to two different sets of judges (though it depends on judges' knowledge of the material or debator "rubbing the fanboy side" of certain judge (no namecalling there)) won't likely be useful there.
The record in the tourney was when the same teams faced thrice in the row, right?
In fact, I'm not that interested in that 3rd place match- a waste of time sort of since due to exams coming right after holiday seasons I won't be posting too often.
So I'm thinking even about dropping from that whole thing (though may be depression).

Blair, as far as I know, has lost all internet service and won't regain it for a long, long time... or, at least, that's what he told me might happen last we spoke, and he hasn't posted in here since- though I haven't been on MSN or KMC for a week or so.
I get back from my vacation on the 4th... if you want me to do a write up, I'll need a little bit more time. If we've already had enough delays, then I can forfeit. I don't have a lot of drive left to be honest, but I'm good either way. Mind you, having a match between Digi and Charlotte to preempt the finals would be a pretty large delay, so I don't think one or two days would be a huge deal.
