I do. And yes, I know you put an epic amount of time in too. Though to be fair, all good competitors put time in...just some put it in different places: scan research, writeup creations, in-match posts, logic-defying strategy brainstorming (aka The "Blair" approach), etc.
😉
I just can't imagine throwing a writeup together last-second. Especially this tourney with my audio writeups, I have to be planning at least a match in advance for what general stuff I'll be saying/doing. For example, I currently have my "writeups" Word file open, where I'm tweaking the script for the audio portion for my match with Scoob/leo that doesn't start for a week and a half. And the written portion of it is largely done (before tweaks and additions, of course).
I've gone into tourneys having traps planned matches in advance for potential opponents...which was easier than it is now, because we've never been able to switch people mid-tourney before. Makes long-term planning even tougher.
Which is odd, because my in-match posting is general spur of the moment stuff. Some partners PM each other their posts and such. I always disliked that....it annoyed me.
Also, are you judging goob? If not, why the hell not?!
