He did, actually, it says "Jedi" right above what he wrote...😛

Well technically, we are jedi 😛

And I'm for that...or killing this guy, then probably the lawyers too, leave no evidence behind (I have just played the force unleashed so am feeling a touch on the evil side of things...)

JEDI

A complex question, Jovan. In that you serve the Republic and the Senate represents the Republic, you serve the Senate- but the Senate is not just one man.

As we cna demonstrate a little when the next person comes to see you- Trema.

"Don't worry about Gern," he says. "We've got plenty of Senators that back the Mining Guild, and we'll make sure they know what really happened here. You know... it's nice to see that there are still some people from Coruscant that care more for the little people than their own politics."

RENEGADES

Nostrum considers this offer for a while.

"Deal," he says, offering his hand.

(Sean- you remember that form Xeth asked you to fill in when you signed up? Did you lie at the part that said "Are you a Dark Sider?"😉

DARK SIDE

Over the next few days you carry out whatever threats you wanted to. The attack on Ogros's settlements do not go as planned though- you find them already abandoned and burning. Ogros has destroyed all of value and taken to the forests and jungles.

Soon those you have made offers to will get their rewards (or will likely join Ogros if you do not follow through) so I think the last meaningful question is over the fate of the prisoners.

I think prisoners should have gotten a chance to join us, or maybe make them the first to fight in our gladiatorial project, and the winners can become our favoured servants.

"Despite what rumors may have told you, there are many people who seek to do good. I am not refering to only Jedi, but many politicians seek to do good too. Not only them, but also "regular" people... Do not be fooled by an encounter of one person you dislike."

Well, Trema will bear what you say in mind- but he says this far out people have little reason to love the Republic and its Senate.

"Thus more reason to not despair and to keep the faith that there are indeed people from the core caring about planets and their inhabitants."

I've missed a bit.... ? Agrees with Jovan.

The senator doesn't like us, Trema is happy. That's all 🙂

We have fufilled our mandate as Jedi, it is not our problem if he funnels funds into his own planet instead of offering better.

But for the plan to succeed was in the Republic's interests, which was also in your mandate. Your decision has collapsed the process of Republican aid to the outer systems.

Which in turn will see many star systems join the Seperatists, in a tidal motion. This was to be an example by the Republic for other systems right? Well we were the single Jedi that caused the problems in episode 2 in the first place. Just watched CLONE WARS.

Yep. Now Count Dooku will keep on spreading influence, with the miners as only part of his influence. Giving the miners the republican deal however, would have probably also spread Republican influence to the planets that Count Dooku would now spread to.

Well, this is only one sector. The bigger decision on Republican aid will be taken elsewhere.

However, you were doing what was right. Sometimes it is best not to defend your cause on the matetrs of the mission but on moral grounds; the Council will accept that. Frankly, they are more likely to accept a mission gone wrong on moral grounds than they are for a mission gone right that sacrificed morality, though the latter probably becomes more necssary as the Clone Wars begin.

In the end the Council are good guys, you are good guys and they will accept most decisions taken on the grounds you did here. I am well satisifed.

But, talking of thst decision about aid... as you guys prepare to return tp your ships at the starport, you come by Dooku's unusual solar sailing vessel, currently packed up so it looks like a sleek skimmer.

Dooku stands just outside it, looking through the dusty wind up to the stars.

"Senator Gern was foolish," he says, as you go by. "He thought that as Jedi you would back anything he wanted. He forgot that you serve a higher cause than his own advancment, no matter how much he dressed it in humanitarian clothing. If only all the corruption in the Senate was so easily seen; als, many are more wily than he. If this were not so, I may have yet stayed within the Order."

I bow to Dooku.

"I have always wondered why you left us. Do you mean that when you see no more corruption, you will return to the Order?"

"If that day comes, I will be greatly surprised."

He points up into the starfield, towards one particular star he is looking at.

"You see that star?"

"We will succeed, count and I hope you would than rejoin the order. As for your question, I see it indeed."

"Mandragos. Do you know what is to happen there?"

(errr, I dunno the planet, should I? Is it something I should know about? If not, my answer is clearly that I don't know)

You might have picked it up from Fisk earlier.

"Many problems beset this area of space. Indeed, this entire quadrant of the galaxy is in peril. Great harvest failings on the agrilcultural worlss, the squandering of resources by local trouble,s and the breakdown of the transportation network means a great famine threatens all of these worlds. The Senatorial Relief Commission is meeting on Mandragos to discuss the way to solve these issues. We shall see if you are right about the Senate.

"But they will hear about what happened here. You have discredited the idea of business partnerships offered even by a Senator., The idea wa to gain guarantees to ensure the money was fairly spent, but instead all will see that the result is merely that private business will collude in the unfairness. You have affected Galactic politics this day."

Edit - Ush is smarter and faster than me.
