USH'S STAR WARS GAME 2008- 'New Blood' (prequel for new players)

Hopefully beause you can run faster than them, Con?

That's a bit of a worst case scenario, but they do know that if you two die then the others are going to come as well, and you can always starfighter their settlements into oblivion. But there you go, the Sith always had this problem as well; technically speaking if everyone rebelled against them, the numbers situation was hopeless. But if you are too afraid to ever show your face to the mob, you'll never rule it (and some Sith probably went down that way).

Head of the Miner's Guild is somewhere on Coruscant! It's an interstellar organisation that has come in on the side of the local miners. The representative they have sent is called Trema.

"The Miners Guild takes a cut from their members proportionate to their profits," says Gern. "So the more money the miners make here, the more money the Guild makes.

"As for protection- well, it's hardly going to be any better without out help, is it?"

Killing the leaders is probably helpful, yes.

But the ground for miles in all directions is very flat. You understand this world has one of the most fascinating ecosystems in the Galaxy, but boy does it LOOK boring...

Also, Con you are pretty good in this area- you are reasonably sure you would sense a trap befiore it happened.

That would be quite a picture for the propaganda machine..."Jedi fleeing after being fooled by Cave Men"

Good, then we mostly have to worry about things turning sour due to our actions.

I guess the advantage of that is we'll see the kill teams coming a mile off... Then again not much of an advantage if we don't have any form of plan.
Skipping ahead a little what's available to us in the from of getting to the starport once we have the film and done all we can for the locals? Is it in the settlement or elsewhere on the planet?

Also, the rest of us would never let you live it down.

Death in Action seems to become a more and more reasonable option.

Bringing your ships here would tip off the kill teams that something was up, and there is no public transport system, so in true Star Wars style there is probably some riding beast on this world you guys use.

For amusement we shall make them flying insectoid beasts.

Especially since the majority of us kill Epireans for fun, and think it's relatively boring.

Well, I know I'm amused.

Wouldn't it be amusing if part of the deal is that that stops...

(just throwing ideas out there!)

Can they excrete vicious smelling go from their back? Can they? Please?

Con wouldn't mind that, but he kinda dislikes the idea of Rianna and Galder being around him with nothing to kill.

...What madness do you speak, man?!

Besides, except for when Galder goes all happy-killy-fun-time-and-then-forget-about-it, we typically make sure the victims are blamable for something.

Looking at you with intent, you mean?

Hey, if it works...

How dare they acknowledge our presence without our permission, y'know?

Yeah, I don't think they could tell the difference between me and an epirean after a while.

[edit] Haha, totally misunderstood you.

Awesome! Flying bug mobile! Will the fun ever end?
I doubt we can route the kill team, unless we involve rampaging Cal beasts... Which could be very bad I think.
Technically we want the attack to happen don't we? So I guess it'd be better to focus more on protecting the Houn as best we can then try and stop the kill teams. What's the Houn's means of escape other then by foot and their crazy flying buggies?

I am unsure something can be gained by talking to the senator... he'll of course only see his point of view. Is there time to see the situation in person or is the meeting about to start?

What you want to get from the senator is a bigger picture of whats going on.
So far all you know is that the Miners have stopped working,
What demands do they have?
Whats caused this strike?
Think background.
The senator is going to be your lifeline in this game. He is going to be biased, sure, but he's going to be your best source of information because you are basically on the same side.

REN:

The Cal live in perfect harmony with the Houn, so does that mean that the Houn can "persuade" the Cal to do certain tasks? For instance, flank the kill team and take out a couple of their walkers?
Also, maybe we can position one man on some high ground to take the evidence, and then stay somewhere reletively safe so we don't lose it, while the others take up positions in huts or something to take down the kill team if it comes to that?

Using the Cal might be dangerous, but Wentar has Quieting. With this ability a Jedi can calm the wildlife or convince them to be of aid (I think). That could take care of the walkers. Otherwise, I would have suggested organizing something to trip them up, but it seems that would be difficult.

It is possible that you could just film the walkers themselves. They're armed with buzzsaws and blaster and marching around on a peaceful world, what else could they be there for?
