Anyone know if there's a plan to collect all this?
I can't be bothered buying all these tie ins, but one or two trades or hardback would do me good.
-the two war of kings books (self titled and ascension)
-nova
-and guardians of the galaxy
not sure if you really need kingbreaker, war of kings #1 is self explanatory.
Here is my unspoilered opinion as of how WOK ends:
Blackbolt and Vulcan are engaged in a one-on-one battle in a mayor confusing combat that involves Gladiator, the Guardians and maybe Nova running around. The battle is at the point of a standstill, and then Vulcan does something (kill an inhuman, destroy a planet or some other character dramatic thing), so BB is pissed and going to scream. Warlock notices and meddles because the scream would rip reality and cheap shots the king in the back, knocking him down. Vulcan wins!
Second ending: Things are up to the point where BB is going to scream, Warlock doesn't manage to make him stop, and there is a reality rip that engulfs a whole chunk of Sh'iar space into another dimension. The hole is getting bigger and bigger, as the rest of the heros are left to search a way to stop its growth, Vulcan is left for dead without an empire and BB is a genocide.
All I have to say about War of Kings 3:
HELL YES ROCKET RACOON.
Although, I do really wonder how the whole Darkhawk deal is going to play into this. And the Nova Corps.
And is the Warlock/Vulcan confrontation taking place next "WOK" main series issue or is it going to take place in the next Guardian's of the Galaxy?
Man, they are just hitting it out of the PARK with this. I liked Annihilation and Conquest but this is just awesome.
Guys, use thumbnails. I edited out the giant-pics due to how much it disrupts screens and layout of the thread.
Also, I like this storyline. GotG has been good, and the main event is palatable. Though the recent "conversion" was far too predictable. It didn't even solicit an eyebrow raise when it happened.

Yep, everyone saw it a mile away, but until now it works for me better than most of Marvel's recent "events".
I'm loving this series. I adore DnA's work.
The question I have... what is Maximus up to? What I really want is for DnA to be redeeming him... and that's kind of what it looks like... but there is a combination of Maximus' own personality and DnA's work... AC, Authority, Nova, Legion (going back for a decade) where they pulled a fast one with characters like that... is this a truly redeemed Maximus, or is he in league with Vulcan ("The president" in Legion- aka Ra's a Ghul? Or his he pursuing his own agenda (The High Evolutionary in "Conquest)?
