But that doesn't really fly.

Let's say Jack from a telemovie is being discussed, then someone brings in a feat he used in a regular episode. Is that CANON?

Now that I think about this TV telemovie thing, it's a bad idea.

i know what u mean..

it should be CANON as the telemovie let straight into a season

I'd say let telemovie feats be canon and anything they might allude to from previous seasons. If it's not specifically mentioned, then it's not allowed.

Yeah I'm gonna steer clear of any thread on telemovies.

ITA

Not familiar with that acronym. What's it me-nevermind, I just got it. Thank you, late night brain. 😆

You guys might be right about this. We need to talk it out more.

yeah we should

Here's what I think. The following rules should apply to what can be used here:

1. Any material used here must come from a movie that had a theatrical/dvd release. Made for TV shouldn't count (In case a made for TV movie is released on dvd later.)

2. Deleted scenes should not count.

3. Director's commentary should not count (dunno how well this will be met by MVF members)

How about this:

Telemovies that are a single film, and not based off of another series will be acceptable. If the telemovie is a spin-off of an existing series, it will not be allowed.

What about telemovies that are used to launch a series? Would it be possible to use them and reference only the movie, since it has all the necessary feats without the fear of referencing past expanded material.

IMO if we bring anything at all from TV into the MVF, things will get ugly.

Do what you will, Mattie, just adding my 14 cents.

That means that we won't get to use characters like Pennywise, etc anymore, you realize.

then this makes the 24 telemovie null and void...

I know. Your call, just saying. You know that all I want what is best for the MVF.

Which is why I'm giving you the Democratic approach, dingus. duryoda

Reported.

As long as you're in the reporting mood, you can report deez.

I just think the MVF should stay just that, the MVF.

Again, kitten, this is me trying to discern what is MVF material and what is not via you, the posters. Chime in your .10 cents.

However, yes, I do agree with your previous post. The MVF should stay Movies only.

Although, it is our responsibility to discern which from which, IMO.
