Ok, could you give me a shortlist, with links if possible, of where this has occurred? And if he has done these things, you could possibly have reported the issues... Most of the mods do take issue with anyone trying to usurp their authority. They don't mind us sorting out our own issues before they have to do it, but they do mind people trying to exercise their authority for them.

Funny story: when they started throwing around "back-seat mod" like it was going out of style, I called them on it (with KMC's own definition of what back-seat modding constituted). Then I told them to report my posts if they really were back-seat modding. They didn't, for some "strange" reason.
Recently, I asked for just 3 examples from Focus: he wouldn't provide a single one.
My guess is...he's bored and just wants to argue.

People are always asking me why I let things like this happen and why aren't certain people banned.
My answer: Because it brings life to the boards and because I can't ban long term members. Also, I might add, I work too many hours to mod like I used to anymore. I work on the oil fields and pipe lines and when I get home, it's relax with family time.
People whine about certain trolls and I always say don't feed them. Trolls make activity happen and people react with flares of emotions.
As long as people don't get blatantly venomous (dead mom jokes, family, etc) then I say have at it. We're all adults, most of us reasonably educated.
I think it's hilarious how worked up some people get over trolls. I makes my penis feel all tingly.

Were I paid to moderate I would definitely make more effort to mod. The moderating I do now is mostly janitorial work like banning ad spammers, moving threads, changing titles, and allowing certain threads to commence.
When people get personal and go for the throat, which is very unnecessary, then I'll flex muscle and order them to stop. The back & forth banter and shit talking you guys do is harmless and I allow it.
I can guarantee that without certain trolls and people, these boards wouldn't have half the activity they do now. I think it's hilarious how butt hurt some people get over trolls and silly bickering. But, hey, that's how message boards run and how it's fun, right?

I would want to attract movie reviewers to this site. Where the review comments occur on the site. A blog tie-in, basically.
I would also want people the ability to edit certain posts, forever. The comic book character respect threads, for one.

Why worry about the mods? Most will probably be demoted once you make your purchase since most are inactive. Just buy the site or don't, most mods probably won't care.
Also, I like it when men pee on me.
