A) Someone desperately trying to curry favour with mods and admin via promises of cash

B) Someone who maybe thinks that anyone/everyone else would see it as some sort of 'power of position' to be attained over others (LOL)

Assume I've purchased the site and cleared out the inactive mods. Now we are talking about promoting people to become moderators. This would determine if I can make the site stay where it is or even improve traffic. Decision time: do I promote a member that is loathed by many members (but creates traffic) or do I promote a person that will do a great job AND is well-liked by the members?

Think about that and get back to me. Let me know because I clearly need the input of an imbecile on business management practices (something I do for a living and am still going to school for).

Okay, you need to think about what an admin does, more:

I would be improving the UI, usability, and clearing out defunct mods. I would promote mods in their place at the recommendation of members and existing mods. The globals would get some sort of profit sharing regarding ad revenue. I would use two accounts: one admin account and my regular dadudemon account.

Check this out: if I **** up by breaking the rules as dadudemon and get banned, tough shit: I'm banned. 😐

Regardless of who buys KMC, the buyer would need to be able to do a complete 180 turn around of the current state these boards are in, lest the buy become a flop.

KMC needs a 100% overhaul of categories, mod staff, attractions for new blood, and something new and hybrid that can make it appealing again instead of the stagnant state it's in now.

The few and faithful that still remain here are the life blood of KMC, yes, but to spend ANY amount of money to buy this site for what is is now would be, in my opinion, a big mistake. A renovation is needed and I, for one, do not have the kind of foresight to see what could be done.

Ten years ago this place was BLOWING UP with traffic and topics and members and laughter with no stopping in sight. Now, with so many smart phones and Facebook accounts and other types of social media, KMC is just one of many, many, many message boards that is in a rapid state of decline due to lack of interest. Again, I say that something new and inventive needs to be done to this place before any kind of potential sale is even remotely considered.

IMO, I think is comes from a general lack of care about the site from it's creator(s). For instance, look at the main page. There are articles about Beautiful Creatures and Pain and Gain.

So why are there so many accounts created everyday but they never get used? I mean look at the number of registered accounts.
