Xavier will accept the transmission, having as to who it is already.

It is Ko Cabas, contacting you from his starship... which the scanners are saying is in orbit.

"Padawan," Master Cabas says. "What are you doing?"

"Master," Xavier responds no tone in his voice. "I found what Friste Tem is up to."

"You need to return to Coruscant, Xavier," Cabas responds, ignoring your comment. "This mission you have undertaken is too dangerous! It will claim either your life, or your soul! You do not have the willpower to face the Darkness."

He makes a valid point

Xavier ignores the voice, "Master I have already faced the darkness and did not let it consume me. Master Friste Tem is about to send his entire Pirate force to attack Ord Janon with the Key of Mortez. If we do not help their chances can not be good."

Cabas furrows his brow.

"What is this Key you speak of?" Cabas asks. "And have you alerted the depot at Ord Janon?"

He tells Cabas everything he knows about the Key.

"I had not yet alerted Ord Janon yet Master."

Cabas seems unsettled when you reveal that the Key of Mortez is a Sith artifact and that Friste is working with Xorn.

"Troubling," Cabas says. "Alert Ord Janon that they are in grave danger. And Padawan... wait there. I cannot allow you to pursue Friste further, you know this. The Order cannot follow him beyond Republic space, nor is it safe to do so. He has control of the pirates and is too powerful for you to deal with, not without bringing damnation upon yourself."

"Understood Master," Xavier says in voice never wavering.

He will alert Oda Janon.

You get a hold of the depot at Ord Janon briefly.

"Who is this?" asks the base captain. He seems surprised to be receiving a message at all, let alone from the supposedly uncharted Alouloth.

"I am Xavier Kolarn of the Jedi Order, I am to inform you of an attack on your base by pirates."

The base captain frowns.

"What are you talking about?" he asks. "Why the hell would anyone want to try raiding Ord Janon?"

"Their leader is a fallen Jedi named Friste Tem, and he is possession of the Key of Mortez if that helps you."

The base captain has no idea what you are talking about... but as you are a Jedi, he is willing to take your word for it.

"We will raise the alert level and bring the defenses online," he says. "If they really are going to try raiding us, they'll regret it. Captain Somos out."

You are worried, Xavier. The base captain is confident that the pirates will not succeed, but... with Friste leading the attack and assistance from Xorn, you know they need you there.

Did Cabas say he was going to help Ord Janon?

He did not directly say he would help Ord Janon or imply it, just that you should contact them so that they are prepared.

Xavier will alert Master Cabas that he has done as instructed. He will ask what Cabas will do now.

"Xavier, I need to get you back to the Jedi Council," Cabas says. "I fear for your stability. My Padawan never would have become a runaway. You've changed. You need my help."

Yes Xavier we've changed, but if he takes us back you will never get another chance at Friste, and he may escape.

Xavier hesitates as he goes over the scenario in his head.

"Xavier?" Cabas says, trying to hold you attention.
