"Master how will Friste be dealt with?"

Cabas is quiet.

"If he ventures back into Republic space, the Order will be ready for him. Until then... he will be left to his own devices."

"By then Master it may be to late, and a great deal of life could be lost," Xavier says before turning of the comm unit.

He speaks into his comm, "Trax prepare the ship we are leaving."

Good let this be our time Xavier

"Be quiet, and that by the end of this you will be gone."

"Yeah, Xavier? That Jedi craft from Raxus is following me around in orbit," Trax says. "We'll have to make that extraction quick. Sabotage stuff and get out here."

Xavier will do as he must, and get ready for Trax.

Going to sabotage anything?

Definitely Sabotage the weapons in case they come back online. He will also Sabotage the comm unit.

Xavier does not have the actual skill for Sabotage... did you have another method in mind?

And no worries, the traps are done for.

Lightsaber into everything mechanical on the main unit.

And so Xavier hacks apart the comms unit indiscriminately, severing great sections of the powerful machine. It rumbles as it loses power and you hack into the coolant lines, spilling frigid chemicals all into its wiring. The metal casings and components crack and split as you walk away, loud clangs echoing throughout the base.

In the armory, the task is simple. You find a cache of explosives and, grabbing a pistol, shoot it. Boom.

Once you are finished, you head out onto the surface. That other exit you found comes up in the center of one of the dead trees. It was hollowed out and well-hidden amongst all the trees.

The New Beginning roars by overhead, the Jedi craft in pursuit.

Xavier begins to steady himself preparing to make the leap into the space craft.

It must be said, Stathos and Cabas have been awfully skilled in tracking you guys down.

Trax is flying too fast for this to be his attempt to extract you from the surface. The freighter rushes by and you are hit with the backwash from the powerful engages, causing you to seek a tree to balance yourself. The Jedi craft races right behind.

True how are they tracking them, Xavier thinks to himself. Maybe some kind of tracking device?

But now is the now and Xavier focuses on when Trax plans on extracting him.

Watching the ships zip about above you, you remember that whomever is flying the Jedi craft is hardly a miraculous pilot. He is fully relying on speed to keep up with the heavy freighter. Trax picks up on this and flies back around towards the wrecked cruiser that you had seen jutting up from the seas near the island. In a dangerous maneuver, Trax pulls The New Beginning down low, skimming the water and flying through a gap in the hull that carries through to the other side. His pursuer is not nearly as talented as he and has to slow down tremendously to make it past the wreck without crashing... but by then Trax has already swept back over to the island and slowed, so that you can leap up and grab the boarding ramp as he passes.

Xavier makes his jump, and reaches for the boarding ramp.

It feels like a routine at this point, Xavier. You hop in and The New Beginning roars as its engines go to full power, taking you up and out of Alouloth's atmosphere. The Jedi craft is close in pursuit.

"Good job," Xavier says to Trax as he takes his seat.

Trax gives a grunt in acknowledgement, but focuses on his piloting. He pushes The New Beginning to its limits, trying to outrun the Jedi craft. But he gives up, knowing his pursuer has the faster ship. To throw them off, Trax suddenly throws on the brakes and dramatically slows the speed of the freighter.

The Jedi craft nearly smashes into him and veers off wildly to evade the freighter. By the time its pilot has regained control and looped back around to continue the chase, Trax has already taken the starship out of Alouloth's gravity well and jumped into hyperspace.

"There is a homing beacon hidden in the ship," Trax says, sinking back in his seat. "They must have put it there while we were in the Temple."

"I should have thought about it earlier. Removing the tracking beacon is pointless now. They know where we are going, and Master Cabas will not give up."

"And we may even need his help," Trax conjectures. "If we drag him into battle against the pirates, he may have no choice."
