Far be it for a democrat to think that the National Guard should be there when it's nation needs it. I'm sure the National Guard is always there when obviously failed and dangerous policies might threaten the weekend warrior's dedication to his country when that dedication might involve more than just showing up, getting a subsidized pay check and getting a tatoo. How could the citizens of the nation suddenly second guess their life-long desire to join the marines or the army when they realize they are nothing more than fodder for an illegitimate war? The last 8 years might have meant something to you, but to the rest of the world they've been a joke. Now, you're trying to pull your opinion out of a fire you started yourself by selling the match as a maverick. You've been so right for the last 8 years, your own party has to sell itself as something totally different from what it has already shown us it is....and you swallow it. It's kind of like joining KMC and chosing the name you did, only to find out 5 years later your hero doesn't like Bush and "loves Obama".
