So! I finally have an entry. I'm usually not too good of a baker, but I can pull it off. For my mom's birthday, I made my mom a fresh, marble-strawberry cake with candy sunflowers and leaves. I made the frosting look like a basket with a stryofoam plate with icing to look like a lid for the basket. I then went to a grocery store to get her a novelty happy birthday ornament and topped it off with a ribbon. The leaves and sunflowers are marely shaped gummis with icing, they're quite good and were a f*ckin' b*tch to make. Overall this cake took me about 8 hours to make, and well, it tasted great, let me know what you guys think.
