Captain America v Deathstroke

Here's a question... how is that Batman and Cap are even close to being equals in strength? It would seem as though Steve is a content bum.

Good Lord you completely missed his point. He doesn't think any human can do what Batman does, the point is training isn't enough to equal Cap.

Bru know's his cap history. In Cap's mini series adventure(another writer) had the Doc also state Cap is the next step in human evolution.

Which would also match the reason why the Doc also said, " A man unlike the world has never seen before."

The guys strength feats are better then Slade's after all no matter how much they cry about it. Slade and Cap are very comparable with Cap looking the slight greater.

Agreed here, the way DD and nightwing are comparable, extremley comparable except for the fact that Matt Kicks Dicks Dick in, the way Ollie and Clint Barton are comparale, except that Clint Kicks Ollies Ollie in.

Just Like the way Batman and Cap are comparable..except... 😈

I actually view DD very comparable to Batman except with Batgirl's body reading ability done through his own manner of course through his Radar/Super-senses.

Still Cap.

Instantaneous......in other words instantly, or faster than cap

Plus the 20 men isn't a actual strength feat plus it's a statement from another person who isn't very sure of himself when saying it,"He's supposed to have the strength of 20 guys," As Slade has decreed for himself 10 men. Obviously Slade statement for himself hold greater weight.

And no Slade reflexes are not truly instantly.

Power levels change and are reinterpreted all the time. He used the 10 men phrase way back in the day.

BTW, So what you're saying is you value slade's word above someone else, but disregard it when he claims to have instantaneous reflexes? Why?

He stated it several times and it's even been in a handbook.

its still hyperbole... random dude said it.

laugh that you used the diana feat.. it also said he was faster then her b/c of the dress// either way even if then what the narration said which was by diana we know it isnt true due to her speed blitz feats.

uh, how so?

also, it didn't say he was faster than her because of her dress. lol

They're refering to combat speed, and when his reflexes are instantaneous and he has that prediction ability, I don't blame them.

Someone post scans of Captain America moving/reacting at the speed of thought and Quicksilver. And Captain America outrunning bullets to their targets.

Was it not also stated that Captain America has the strength of half a platoon or something similar?

but, it doesnt count.. hyperbole and pis moments only work for DS and not cap. so we cant use caps own feats to substantiate his abilities.

That just means to Slade there instantaneous. You really think his reflexes are faster then say Gladiator movements in nano seconds. Since there truly instantaneous?

Its a throw out statement. Even if there a low level enhanced degree like Cap's. His speed has impressed QuickSilver and his speed was stated to be on par with QS. Yet even I don't believe its truly at QS speed. Despite the comment.

I got his point. His point is that he thinks that Captain America is better than Batman simply because he says so and because while Cap is a super soldier Batman is a guy who just works out a lot.

He's essentially ignoring the fact that whatever their implied powersets might be relative to one another Batman is comparable to Steve in virtually every way based on feats and history.

He's saying that serum>training even if the results are mostly the same.

What he's saying is contradicted by comic book showings. Recall that Kirby once stated Darkseid to be Galactus's equal.

yeah, how long ago till the character was retcon to his pathetic jobber state?

old school DS was a beast not so much now on average

MVP (michael van patrick) of the avengers initiative had peak human strength/speed/reflexes etc thru working out. it was stated that he was peak human

he was "born" perfect.. they considered him a superhuman and not natural so he lost scholarships iirc..

nooo.... he died.....

umm.. yeh, hence he joined the initiative where he died shot in the head.. why the hell would you respond with that statement.
