In the Marvel vs DC issue where Batman beats Cap while they were fighting they both stopped for a second to talk Batman was huffing while Cap was not. I believe Batman said there were fighting for hours before Batman finally pulled the plug on Cap.

Well if you look at his fights with Black Panther (who in his gear is truly a meta) they're pretty even despite the fact that Cap is more skilled than T'challa. That to me signifies that T'Challa compensates by having a physical advantage.

Now IDK if he said that, but I wouldn't doubt it. Cap is really most often portrayed as a guy who's human, but one who succeeds, even past people's expectations of what he can do, not because he's superhuman, but because he's determined and has the iron will to overcome. Pretty similar to Batman actually

like to see bats do a two story vertical leap to the roof or do a 5 to 10 story drop to the pavement and crack the ground beneath him with no cape.

I'm not smoking any crack, but yeah, this is comics, and Batman does have comparable toxin resistant feats.
He built up a tolerance on exposure alone IIRC. And you didn't see the other instance I cited?

Just how did you calculate that Cap went down 5 to 10 stories in that particular feat? Also, penetrating stone,brick,etc is essentially comparable to that feat. Peaks gets thrown through and imprinted in walls by force all the time and keep right on going.
