Yep. I found 2 Riddler boxes actually. The one that you mentioned, and one at the beginning (when Joker's talking on TV as guys come at you), behind this other air vent. Didn't notice it until playing through the demo the 2nd time while using Detective Mode.

Did anyone manage to access the second vent and see what it contained? It was possible to manage to see that there was something in it, but I didn't manage to get to it. It is located up high on the wall after you move up the stairs after the Zsasz cut-scene.

I honestly prefer her harlequin costume, but I can understand the reasoning behind creating a new costume from what's available at Arkham.

Same here, Harley's just not the same without the old red/black outfit...ahh well as Pr said, hopefully DLC will be available to rectify the issue, or a custom mod.

Hmm.. no. I'll have to try that sometime.

Depends on what they are/how they're used. Not everything's going to involve just the grapple hook or the batarang.

Hmm, I'll take a look for the second Riddler box at the start, I usually just get distracted by the cell with the Question marks scribbled on it before moving on.

Speculation is that higher vents can only be accessed by using the Batclaw to rip the grates off. There's a few higher-up vents like that (there's another in the opposite corner of where you enter the final room), and like the breakable wall, you just don't have the equipment in the demo.

I just played the PS3 demo today.

Awesome graphics, great voice work, and cool detective vision. The combat was, I have to admit, kinda repetitive since all I did was mash down the square button repeatedly. I'm hoping that there will be a more intricate combo system in the full game.

I'll definitely have to buy this.

Does anyone know how much the collector's edition will be?

A Collector's Edition has been announced. The Collector's Edition will feature:

A 14 inch Batarang in the style of the game (stand included)

A 50 Page color character journal

A Bonus DVD including interviews with Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill and other voice actors.

An exclusive Crime Alley Challenge Map, available immediately.

A Batarang Box Set[33]
The CE is $99, at least at Gamestop.

Talk about a CE worth the price, though. Despite my love of artbooks/character journals, I was completely sold at the thought of having my own batarang.

Furthermore, as mentioned before, Gamestop preorders get exclusive Scarecrow challenge maps.

Getting quite a lot from this game right from the moment of purchase, I must admit.

damn. i'm considering getting that.

also, try triangle. 😛

btw, did anyone see that video of mark hammil saying this is his last EVER joker performance? i have to say, i died a little...

What, exactly, are the Scarecrow maps?

I, too, am sold at having my own Batarang.

Wonder if Amazon is selling the CE for cheaper than $99.

They're special challenge maps. Essentially, Batman is fighting crowds of skeletal hallucinations while under the effects of Scarecrow's fear serum.

I literally just checked, and they're currently offering a preorder deal with nine dollars off.

The trouble with Amazon is that they don't always get your stuff shipped out properly... I'd rather pay full price and get the game immediately, as well as the security that nothing will get broken or screwed up in transit.

General impressions from the demo seem to be saying the game is jaggier on PS3... PS3 owners, is it indeed jaggy?

I have no basis for comparison, really, since I have yet to see the 360 version.

Will the game disc come in the standard game case or will the big ass Batarang case be the only case? Call me crazy, but I really dislike it when I cant just slide my game neatly into place along with my other games.

I'll be getting the PC version of the CE when it's shipped, over here the CE is around £50 or so.

This also makes me sad.

Wait, Hamill's not gonna do it anymore?

That's kind of sad... at least we know he's giving it his all.

The picture seems to be showing the proper case next to the hard case?

They did the same thing for Fallout 3; the normal game case was placed inside the lunchbox case.

It kinda looks like it's just the instruction manual. Still, I'll take your word that it will.

This version seems to have a different case.

Of course, the PC version has been delayed to September...

I know, but if you look on Amazon.co.uk for any of the SE, the casing is all the same for each one.

In Imp's pic the SE comes in a metal batarang case.

(I am actually referring to the box that the SE comes in, not the game box itself)

Different casings for regions, perhaps?

mmm I'm gonna try and look for it then and see if I can reach it.

Figures..

Ah well.
And yeah, I knew about the breakable wall.

lol Same here. You're definitely not alone when it comes to that.

And the thing about Hammil doesn't surprise me for some reason.. Guess you can consider this his grand finale at least.

I doubt it. Where there is work, there is money. Hamill will be back as Joker again, I bet.
