I doubt it. Where there is work, there is money. Hamill will be back as Joker again, I bet.

Evidently, he doesn't think he can surpass Ledger's interpretation of the character.

Which I think is silly, but it's his choice. *shrugs*

Mark disagrees apparently. 😛 Everyone's entitled to their opinion. I like both their performances pretty much equally, so it doesn't bother me that much. *shrugs*

Did anyone manage to access the second vent and see what it contained? It was possible to manage to see that there was something in it, but I didn't manage to get to it. It is located up high on the wall after you move up the stairs after the Zsasz cut-scene.

Oh yeah. About this. I played the demo again, and it's not a vent you can reach. Not from that room.
I'm guessing when you exit/escape a certain part of the Asylum, there will be a tunnel for you to use that vent to open to get out as a shortcut. That's probably what it is.

😂 fair enough.

Personally I think he has the best voice for the Joker, no one makes the Joker sound more convincing then Mark.

ditto.

Completely agreed. While I love Nicholson, and Cesar Romero was strangely charming, and Ledger was an utterly amazing reinterpretation, my favorite Joker is and always will be Hamill.

It's his laughs, I think. Hamill's Joker has so many laughs, crazy, joyful, victorious, ominous and terrifying... and they're all great.

Plus, Paul Dini always gave him the best material. "I'm tanned, I'm rested, and I'm ready to give this town a wedgie again!"

He is in my mind the only person to play the Joker to date who actually used his laugh to project emotions, he could be giddy and excited with his laugh, or monstrous and threatening.

He also has the right tones you can hear that very dark, disturbed and generally evil side to the Joker just lurking under any sort of playful tone he has, even when he seems to be generally happy you can just sense something very dark and foreboding underneath.

Also as you said, he had an amazing writer behind him constantly throwing him great material.

My favorite Hamill has to be from Mask of the Phantasm. Pure brilliance.

for me he also shifted more easily between playful clown and murderous psychopath. nicholson did it to a degree, and ledger's joker was a different mold, but hammil had such range that it was just insane. you can even hear it in the game too.

Utterly amazing.

Apparently, someone cracked the PC demo. The code included the full list of character bios, which is presumably the full primary cast.

For once I'm not going to spoil myself on the list.

All I will say is that it's a pretty nice list. A few surprising, but fun additions.

I still say Ledger is the best Joker, but Hamill is definitely up there vocally.

The one thing he does have over everyone else is the laugh. Ledger sounds a bit mental when he laughs, but you get the impression it's more that he's a unstable and actually finds things funny. Hamill's laugh actually makes Joker sound like he is actually a full-blown headcase. Why? Because he reacts to nothing. Ledger was always laughing at SOMETHING. Sure, it's crazy to laugh at Batman beating you up, but it's actually mental to crack up at nothing. Literally nothing.
