Skiv smilied and watched her lay back on the bed, he thought about Tsecti and how he did such a horrible thing.

"harkin, if he killed your race do you think he'll kill you 2 if he finds you not useful ocne the baby is born?"

She sighed and looked sadly up at him. "Yes... I think he will... He probably wont even wait for the cord to be cut... That's why I want to spend as much time at your side as I can.... The baby will grow fast. It is a child of Magic... I dont have long left." Her smile faded a bit and she patted the spot next to her. "Come here love."

Skiv walked over and sat down where she patted. He sighed and began giving what she said some thought.

"As long as you get your powers back and use them to his benefit maybe he won't get rid of you wh knows"

She shook her head and snuggled up next to him. "I wont get them back until the child is 5... But your right... He might not kill me... I dont know. Do you wish for me to ask him?"

Skiv wrapped his arm around her side and looked forward at the door.

""Yea but i'm not sure i want to know the answer." his eyes the drifted to the floor, and sat silent for a few seconds

"Harkin, if i wasn't able to get Tsecti to free you would you still act this way towards me, or is this only because you're obligated?"

She smiled and studied his face, running her finger tips over his cheek. "Let's just say you remind me of someone.. I'll talk to Tsecti next time I see him. Rest love."

Skiv smiled and leaned forward passionatly kissing Harkin, he slowly reached his tounge to slide against hers breifly before pulling his head back and crawling up the head of the bed and laying his head aginst the pillow.

"Thats a good idea i shall rest, what of you?"

Chills ran through her body with his kiss, and she moved to return it when he pulled away. She sighed and licked her lips and she crawled up to lay beside him. "I'll stay by your side, and get a bit of sleep too."

Skiv smilied as he watched her lay down, as far as he was concerned everything was great. He had started to close his eyes when all of a sudden he heard a knock on his room door

Skiv: "What do you want"

the guard that stood infront of the door opened it slightly and stuck his head slightly towards the opening

Guard: "Umm Lord Maku would like to hold conference with you"

Skiv's eyes narrowed and he shook his head

"Tell him some other time"

Maku was standing on the other side of the door holding the head of the gaurd up to the opening, he had been imitating his voice to get him to let him in willingly. Once Skiv refused he dropped the mans hand and placed his hand on the door, it glowed for a moment and then exploded.

Skiv jumped to his feet and closed his hands together causing two large segments of the wall to crash into Maku from oppostie sides, the crumbled to pieces as they struck him.

Maku reached his arm out and the whole building was dismantled except for Skiv's room which was now floating the air, all the pices of the temple were floating around it. Skiv glanced around breifly and charged forward at Maku and thrust his fist out, it became surronded by fire as he agot closer and closer to Makus face. Maku opened his mouth wide and enegy shot out in a large beam striking all of Skiv's body. Skiv hit the floor at the edge of the room various parts of his clothing were ripped and he was bleeding. Maku smilied as he lowered his arm and all of the temple was rebuilt ina few seconds.

"Tell Tsecti that soon you two can surrendur your selves to me to become my servants and test subjects , or perish." He then looked down at Skiv whose cuts were already starting to heal and then glanced at Harkin and gave her a smile; and with that he vanished in thin air.

''I would not think so'' Derek added.

He walked calmly from behind, in their direction.

''Nothing will be done until I have settled my things with both Skiv and Tetsci.''

He had a pity feeling towards Skiv for eveything that had happened to him, but mostly he remembered his past friendship with him.
Coming next to him, he added:

''This is your battle, Skiv, but allow me to help you a bit.''

As soon as he said that, he powered Skiv his dimension control. Skiv was now able to reach great velocity, and his physical powers grew stronger, each hit so powerful it could destroy anything he wished. But Derek culdn't power-up Skiv's energy, not knowing exactly what it consisted of. He could however, affect a wave let out by Skiv.

''Go''

Skiv looked up at Derek

"Two things, one he's gone and i'm not gonna chase after him. and two how did you even get here"

Derek looked down at Skiv.

''I have perfected my travel technique, and until recently this world was within my reach... I understand why some of your folks come to earth by seeing this watseland''.

He looked arround him.

''It is time we speak of more serious matters''.

Skiv shook his head and gave a faint smile

"You realize it only seems that because the area around this part of the world is a large desert. And sure what do you need"

Derek held a hand to help him up.

''What we have all thought of at one time or another... Tetsci must die''

He was waiting for Skiv's reaction.

Skiv stood up and sat back down on the bed.

"I can't be part of that, it's treason"

Derek's eyebrow got up.

''Treason is a matter of perspective, wouldn't you say? And what if Tetsci decided to kill your baby and Harkin, would he have betrayed you? No, but you would still feel betrayed, yes? I am here to tell you to think with your heart, forget the situations''.

Derek came closer to him.

''If you were not disciple, would you let all this happen to you?''

Harkin sat quietly on the bed, still in shock from what Maku had done. And that little smile he gave her was creepy. She shivered and moved to sit beside Skiv, wrapping her arms around him and kissing the healing wound on his shoulder. "Do you know that man?"

"I know him, but he looks older then the one i know and alot stronger" He turned his focus back on Derek

"I cannot turn against him i swore alligence to him and he has protected me and given me many great things in return"

Derek swiftly shook his head.

''Funny how you sound, Skiv, yet perturbed nonetheless. I am planning to go against him, and I will defeat him. Remember that it is not only for me nor you, but for the world. And if you cared for the world your child will grow in, then you know your side''.
