USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (RENEGADES)- Battlefield

The landers got through because the BV-50 trashed all the guns that could fire on the landing zone skies.

And keep the general idea in mind.

I still need someone to give the order to retreat in the ground battle where Denzral, Kiu, and Jovan are...

"We must pull out, or we won't be around long enough to stop the Federation. I do not wish further, and wastefull, bloodshed, we must fall back for now!" my move are already stated. Tap everything, kill droids n' run

We need to also find and stop the BV-50. I'll go do that.

Throwing the fight at this point will cost you the Valley.

Where is a bit of valour??!

Things may be determined for Xeth, but... are things on the ground still winnable, despite the orbital bombardment?

I mean, we could keep fighting the battle droids, clear them out, then have a go at the Hailfire droids ourselves.

Think about the nature of an orbital bombardment.

It is trying to halt the advance of the Selenian forces, right?

Well, yes, but all the Feds' weapons are trying to do THAT.

You are treating their use of bombardment as an all-purpose game winner, which, as you are not in a position to prevent it, makes it a war loser for you. Every weapon has its limitations.

We can't reflect them anyway. lol

Forget what I said. Vera we need a plan, a team effort.

Which is exactly what the Federation wants, to deterr us into letting the bombardment be the end-all weapon here.

So we should keep up the fight! It cannot hit something that it can't get a good shot at, right? What if we stick to the sides of the valley, or stay in the midst of the battle droids?

Well I'll tap Riposte this turn and finish some droids off Mk II's or other, and swap it out at the end of my turn to swap in Focussed Blow, leaving me with Martial Artist, and Focussed Blow in but not active, with Orthodox Guard remaining at the start of the turn after the current one .

I doubt the Feds are going to bombard their own forces, as disposable as they are they only have so many. I say go right for the hailfires. Bombarding those would be a stupid move on their part.

Wentar has it exactly right!

Then the Jedi need to plow through to the Hailfires immediately. Vera-Kin is already in striking distance. Would she be able to move in and attack the Hailfire that Xeth damaged in his attack run this turn, while ordering the Selenian Special Forces to move towards them and keeping their fire up on the battle droids?

The other Jedi should have the Selenians finish off the battle droids while moving up to meet up with Vera-Kin at the Hailfires.

Forget the tap. We'll move up to attack the guns. However I forsee a problem. Once the halifires are gone then they'll fire .

I think we will handle that problem when we get to it.

You can't 'order' the Selenians to do anything.

You will find that orbital bombardments are very poor ways of taking out individual targets.

You may also wish to consider that if they over-do it they'll collpase the Valley which is no good to them (and is the emergency Selenian contingency had this fight gone to the 'losing' scenario).
