"What?!" Xeth says upon hearing this, objecting alongside Colonel Minas. "You can't be serious! What is the meaning of this?"
He feels a flash of anger himself, having just talked to Wentar about how the Selenian troops that died did not die in vain as the Valley was held. However, he realizes there must be a reason that Marshall Shan is angry as well and waits to hear his response.
"That it will," Xeth says. "But yes, I will stand by you on this. The civilians have no defenses of their own against the Cultists. My team of Knights is in dire need rest, and our ships need repairs or they'll fall apart, but how can we be of use to you in this new endeavour, once we have had a moment to catch ourselves?"
He doesn't want you wasting your time at the cities. Those will be attrional defensive battles, and he feels you have shown your worth more in a striking sense. He doens;t think the enxt such engagement will be for a little while.
"The leaders of the other nations' forces are arriving now. I am calling a strategic conference to discuss our next move."
Cool. Vera-Kin will want to see what the other nations are packing, since the Selenians had their skimmers and their airspeeders. How many nations are there again (and their names if we can get them)? What kinds of vehicles and weapons did they bring? How many troops are they supplying and are they any different (rules-wise) than what the Selenians already have?
There are five nations in total.
The Selenians prefer fast striking forces, and they have the intelligence and special forces troops.
Their rivals the Dorgonath have the heaviest industry and produce the heavy equipment.
The Elerians are an island nation who don't have much of a standing asrmy, but they have the decent starfighters.
The Kaldak are the 'primitive' people in a Gungan sense, iin that they have deliberately chosen to remain in a relatively unsophistcaed state, though they still use technology for all kind of living conveniences. They have the animal mastery schtick, and their infantry forces seem to be handlers controlling snarling dog-like warbeasts.
Finally the Gothan are a relatively poverty-stircken coalition of the 'rest of the world', from a continent that has had the most economic problems over time. They are too poor for sophistication but they can send the most men with their levies.
