USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (RENEGADES)- Battlefield

Started by Jedireaper224 pages

I only have three Blad Schticks, one Blaster Schtick (thankfully I have one if it comes down to it), and three combat ones which I do not fully remember but I will write them down later.

Taking time to get there is a good idea, rapid movement may get me noticed before I cut the trees down, once the first tree is down, Dash is acceptable then unless I lose a Force point as I want to make sure Ush, that I use the least amount posible so they last the game. Is that ok?

You are already in place to cut the trees; that roll has already been made.

And yes indeed, that is all your schticks in place, but I wanted people to know how the swapping worked.

You will note that with orthodox Guard up, Denz has a good defence. Kiu's Forward Guard is instead giving him a very high Sabre score.

Now, I am not quite as biblical in scale with Jedi fighting enemies as, say, the Clone Wars cartoon is; this is more like the films where the Jedi can take on many times their own number but, only if they play it smart. 25 is not a small number of foes, and these are not normal battle droids; the Super ones are slightly more to be reckoned with. If you just blunder in and trade blows with them... weill, actually you'll probably win but it won't be pretty, and damage you take will stay!

So good ideas like hiding, tree cutting and ambushing will all stack the odds in your favour. You cannot take no damage, but yuo can improve things as much as possuible. Ask veteran players about fighting smart too.

Okay cool, any stray blaster bolts my way yet?

Kiu will start cutting the next action available.
Denz, focus on the Battle Droids. I'll take care of the Droideka.

They haven't seen you yet, Denzral, but things will start flying once you cut down those trees.

Might want to both take on the super droids at first. As Chris said, reducing their numbers can only help you.

*runs away*

No waiiiit. Oh... i needed the advice. Thanks guys ^^

denz will cut all the trees down and raw fire while kiu does what he believes.

Right, sorry, I may have misinterpreted here, but I was under the impression that Kiu was sneaking around for the rear attack whilst Denz did the tree cut.

If Kiu wants to cut trees as well- Denz is in the only good place for it. I can move you over there (as fi you had never gone behind) if you wish!

Well whatever... rear attack works for me. Whats my next move, once the trees are down, can I draw fire?

Well I need to be sure where to put kiu.

Seems fair... While I wait I'm going to see if I can Improve Denzral's biography...

(awaiting answer of PM from BB before posting)

Got back to you on it. I hope my advice was helpful.

Xeth watches the crowd nervously from his cockpit.

"Definitely not what I had in mind when I thought of saving a world," Xeth groans.

"People of (where the heck we are, can't remember)!
Listen to me! We need you to calm down after this we can start with a swift evac. As long as there is a stampede, things can't go well and we'll lose a lot of time. So for your own sake, calm down and listen to the instructions we will give!"

Selenia, I believe.

I'll do the rear attack and not cut trees Ush.

Then I guess me and Sean will attack head on and try to push the forces back.

I think Ush was trying to advise against that, because you'd have to make the fight all about killing droids in the middle rather than pressing their forces to come forward... did I read that right, Ush?

You did indeed. Basically the enemy position at the Guns is very strong (indeed, the battery commander thinks that if they rushes forwards now with the tanks they would probably win, but he thinks the strategic programming on these droids is cautious and, quite literally, always by the book). But it's not a matter of defeating all of them- only about destroying the Hailfires, that is your only victory conidition. This will allow the main guns to keep on firing long enough to make a difference.

So your main job is to tie up enough enemy forces so that someone- be that someone flanking or Wentar in his fighter- can level the Hailfires.

Vlad makes his cut! The fight is on!

The tree comes down, sending many of the droids running (meaning they do not fire at Vlad yet, but they will start next turn), and actively crushing three of them. Good start, and their attention is entirely focussed towards the front side where Vlad is now...

Perhaps a bit more forceful, Jovan? Vera was trying reason and empathy earlier; this is more a case of "Come with me if you want to live". It's harsh but is what is needed in crowd control sometimes.

Meanwhile Vera should be trying an Intimidate approach on the crowd leaders Jovan identified...

Should I be treating these like a game of chess? Denzral can try to draw fire to keep the droids distracted unless someone has a better idea.

22 battle droids and two droidekas can be a lot of fire- your cover will not last long.
