Are the droids I'm trying to lure away the ones that are defending the hailfires? If so anyone else could have a clear shot at the hailfires.

No, without your distraction it would be 75 and four tanks.

What if Sean fled the battle and lured away more troops? Or even some of the Selenians?

Then the battle droids there would advance forwards and trash the guns. He also would not distract a single defender; he is fighting the ones that have come forward.

Guys whats happening?

In Jovan's situation... would the droid get through if he made a bid to snatch their locator that they are tracking it with? And then he could lure them off.

Meanwhile, I want to hear Sean and Wentar's thoughts on the matter. Do you stick with the battle and try to keep it up against the battle droids or do you forfeit the guns?

I already gave Jovan some advice on that situation by PM, actually. But the detector is handheld; snatching it is not an option. THis was not actually meant to be a hugely complex scenario!

You're going to be shot down before long, Xeth...

I really can't see us making this. 3 Hailfires sounds easy enough to destroy, but I doubt the Free Fliers chances in taking them out is too great with it's current damage.

Alright, well, Xeth is going to make this third run to help the evacuees escape, hoping that Jovan and Vera-Kin have found ways of helping the situation by the time he gets back.

I somewhat agree with you, Wentar, but maybe you could hold out until the starfighters show up? Sean is not doing terrible as far as damage goes and him putting down the droids.

Sorry, haven't had a chance to really get on the past week. The guns are too important to the battle to lose, so I'm not going to run away from them. If we can get the Selenians to aim even one of their guns at the tanks it will make the battle alot easier. Or if any of their troops have a rocket launcher or something to take one down. I'd be happy to go and attack one with my lightsabre but with all the droids around I'd probably be slaughtered before I could take a second down.

Well the field gun crew isn't just going to sit there; it will try for one of the tanks. But the troops themselves don't have antitank weaponry, no.

Xeth- err, not sure how you keep missing this... you are under attack!!!

Oh geez, how bad am I?

How many droid starfighters are coming for him?

Six.

Though Xeth wishes he had some assistance, he is going to try dogfighting with the droid starfighters, to get them off his tail.

"Ladies and gents, please... hold on to something," Xeth says, worried that the people on board may cause him difficulties in trying to fight off the droid ships.

Well yes. Your ships is handling like... well, roughly like you had massively overloaded it by stuffinf as many people as possible on board.

Enough to take two dice off any piloting rolls..

after confering with Bespin Bart, it seems best to just meet them head on... though I'm not happy about it.

Is there a way I can get them distracted just long enough so I can get close to them so I can chop at least one down before they can react?

btw, I got feavor so I might not be online much tomorrow, I'll try though

Literally speaking yes there is ushc a way. You know what it is they are after.

They want the droid. If Jovan uses Presence to hide himself and then distracts them by letting them move towards the droid while he moves behind them, he should get his strike in.

And Xeth does not seem to have other options, so he is going to enter a dogfight with the droid starfighter, trying to fight them off so he can get away cleanly.

Using the droid as literal bait is definitely possible- though not without risk to the droid.

Maybe just moving around behind the Cultists as they search without it being visible bait? They'll be distracted, that's for sure.
