USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (DARK SIDE)- Destiny

That is kind of a big risk we are taking, Rex. What if it doesn't go down? We all die hardcore from tissue disruption. And then its over and we lose.

If we use our action to all move into full cover, we stay fine, Droid F probably blows up the cover, but whatever. Then after the tissue thing is done we come out and hack it up.

If we are lucky there might be a refresh, you know?

Ooooh tough choice...

I mean if we go to cover we are completely fine for a turn yes?

No, full cover provides a parry of 2; it is possible to be hit through it. Else that would be a bit boring n most fights.

It's not as if there are any solid steel walls around, after all.

Hmm... no. I think we should go ahead with the attack, then. Parry +2 is nice, but not nice enough. We just gave him some hefty damage, I'm sure with Strikes and Blocks being tapped in he will go down.

Or, if you are feeling fancy, power in Evade against the other Giant droid instead...

Which means that he'd miss completely, with Parry and all. But the General might still hit... or does he not fire his other guns when he goes disruptoring?

This is true. I actually was suggesting risking attacking the General and avoiding the droid.

I think I will take that risk, then! Instead of tapping Block, I'll use Evade to increase my defense against Droid F, and then cancel Strike because that will be my last Force point... but we are still going ahead with attacking the General.

Oh, I guess Azarl can withstand some damage. Let's just hope that the General goes down or we are dead.

Azarl attacks the General with his lightsaber, driving it into the disruptor weapon to disrupt its power flow and cause it to overload and explode on the General.

Relle will follow the plan and attack the General while using Evade against the big droid.

All or bust on The General! Surprised Galder did not tap Block though.

Good roll, though by Galder! Fully five successes on seven dice for ten damage!

Azarl rolls two successes for seven, and Relle rolls three successes for eight... a total of 25 damage... whuich is enough! The General's total was 100. With three final sabre slashes, something gives way inside, and the innards of The General are set alight; it starts to move around in random circles, effectively dead.

Two dice each on Galder and Relle miss,w hilst Azarl takes a hit from the last Giant Droid.

ROBOT WARS- START OF TURN 13

Western Third

Galder: (LS 10/0)- 3/3/69 (Forward Guard/Cleave/Block)

Relle (LS 8/2): 3/3/49 (Forward Guard/Eagle Eye/Block)

Azarl (LS 8/0): 3/3/58 (Orthodox Guard/Block)

Giant Battle Droid F: (G 8) 0/3 (1P)/8

"Let's finish this," Galder says.

Galder throws himself at the last remaining Giant Droid, tapping Block as he drives his lightsabers repeatedly into its legs to finish it off.

Do I assume correctly the others are doing the same? The only difference I can think of is if Relle fires instead.

Relle should fire and take advantage of the lack of defense and higher dice pool she has with her light pistols. Maybe tap Eagle Eye just to get in some solid shots.

But Galder and Azarl will be hitting it with their lightsabers.

Very well, but as there are options (and don't forget the Missiles) I had best wait on her post.

Sorry about the wait.

Relle will quickly switch to her light pistols and go into half-cover and shoot away at the Droid. Also I would like to use a Force Point on Evade aginst Droid F. Additionally I would like to tap Eagle Eye and Block.

I am afraid tapping Block won't help for two reasons- first of all, that increases your sabre attack, not your defence. Secondly, when using pistols none of your Blade schticks work anyway...

Ok, I will move on minus the Block tap.

Galder and Azarl hack at the droid and Relle gets her tap; without BGB out she's not doing the same damage of course.

The missiles blow away Relle's cover; There is only one piece of cover left in the western area!

But it is Galder who goes down this turn, leaving Azarl and relle in the frame...

... just as we get a Refresh!

Galder, hacking into the armor of the giant droid with his lightsaber, swings again and again... but suddenly stops as a series of blaster bolts strike him down, hitting him in the torso but apparently striking nothing vital as he drops and it stops focusing on him.

"Gah!" Galder shouts in frustration as he falls, then drags himself to cover.
