Might work.

LOTR had quite a few "Oh yeah, and this magical god move saves you this time", didn't it.

Basically, yes.

Seemed totally unfair for the bad guys, really.

The only time the Dark Siders ever got bailed out, it was by Doon.

Long story short- you are always on your own. That's part of the Dark Side vibe.

Yeah, bailed out by Doon...only to walk directly into the trap he set for us...

(grumblegrumble)

But at least we got revenge rather spectacularly.

And even being bailed out by Doon just got us into a whole other barrel of doom...

Idea. With the three of us attacking Droid D (and Galder tapping Forward Guard, too), maybe it'd be good if Rand directed his Saber Throw at the General? Take advantage of the whole 'not defended' thing.

It can also be safely used on The General even when his disruptor fires...

Ooooh.

Rand, find yourself a hiding place and saber throw the General!

Yes! Rand will throw his lightsaber at the General, not at Droid D. You guys can handle that quite nicely.

Though, Ush, would it be possible to attempt using Sense to throw from complete cover? That worked nicely with Bombard.

Unfortunately it's not a Force Attack so I do need line of sight.

Alright. Half-cover better than no-cover.

Now we just need to hear from Xavier and Relle... if we think about them really hard, maybe they'll come...

Relle is going to attack Droid D. She will use another Strike.

Also, can I refresh Eagle Eye because I missed the last one?

Sure!

Xavier already posted slashing at Droid D this turn.

Really nothing else for me to do because I have no defense. Two worthless Shticks in.

Well, let's see how this goes...

Indeed!

Xavier, Galder and Relle all attack Droid D... and bring it down! You will be glas to know that Galder's tap dice made the difference; 27 damage was inflicted in total.

Azarl and Rand move up, and Rand, for extra flashiness, hurls his Sabre at The General, and when using Sabre throw like this we must look at his ranged defence, which is zero... a hit, for ten damage!

Now the bad guys. The remaining droid's missiles destroy the cover Azarl just moved into. Well, that's a fair way to have used cover! Then I have ten laser attacks to come, to two each, and Azarl's cover still counts for this turn.

This means Azarl is safe, one hit on Rand is absrobed, another from The General hits him... for three damage... gahh!

Relle is in luck... but Xavier is not, he goes down this turn I am afraid. Curse those inefficient earlier Medicine rolls!

ROBOT WARS- START OF TURN 11

Middle Third

Western Third

Galder: (LS 10/2)- 3/3/66 (Forward Guard/Cleave/Block)

Relle (LS 12/3): 3/3/46 (Forward Guard/Eagle Eye/Block)

Azarl (LS 8/0): 3/3/50 (Orthodox Guard/Block)

Rand (LS 10/1): 0/0/39 (Orthodox Guard/Cleave/Reflection)- Half cover

Giant Battle Droid F: (G 8) 0/3 (1P)/8

The General: (G 10) 0/3 (1P)/47

You should all focus on the Giant Droid F now. (obviously). Maybe use your sabre throw again, Rand?

Actually, at this point it might be better to focus on the General. He could probably be brought down in another turn or two, especially if Rand uses Saber Throw again.

As people have pointed out before, what if he has 300 billion HP mhm

And yes, I too can post from a different account. 😛

Well, I did give a hint on that earlier. He's not THAT big.

Rand ducks behind the fallen giant droid, relying on its thick armor for half-cover as he peers out to lock on to the General. He recalls his lightsaber after letting it sink into the leading droid's armor, then throws it like a spear back at the General.

(Saber Throw)

-

We need to bring down the General, we may not last long enough to attack him if we all go after Droid F now.

Galder is doing to spend a Force point on an Evade against an attack from Droid F, because then it has a possibility of not hitting him at all if two of those dice don't roll successes...

Galder does not even pause once Droid D begins to collapse. He goes straight for the General, yelling as he charges the droid down and attacks it with his lightsabers, driving them into its armored skin and biting right through.

Seems to me like it's the exact same reasoning I had 10 pages ago and I don't see how the facts changed. disgust
