You don't realistically have enough money to deck out all your ships. In fact, the prices are not that far shy of a new ship, which is getting silly. If you blew all your cash you could probably get a couple, but best to use that cash for other stuff. You can certainly sort out all kinds of technical supply situations with this visit.

We do now have a new objective for you- get a substantial amount of money for transponder buying! You hgave the source, you just need to secure the means. Not something to be done in this Downtime though.

So Ush, is seems that Gallador with Rianna and Xavier( unless there is anyone more who can help at this point?) will go on Xavier`s ship to research SNK a bit more. Since you take Merits into account would my Lucky Merit (which is worth three standard Merits) help a bit?

Ush how much would it cost to get one clean Transponder for one ship?

Because we could use that clean ship to do some mercenary work to get credits.

No, Lucky is not the relevant Merit for Downtime- besides which, quite a lot of those got used up.

And doing mercenary work would be insanely dangerous; you use lightsabres! That's a no-go for money.

Word would get out really fast about saber-wielding mercenaries running around. Galder used to do that kind of work and it is not something he wants to go back to.

Well I wasn't suggesting using lightsabers. I figured someone could you know use guns. 😛

Anyways, since we do have AK here, we should make sure that we have a means of contacting him when we need him. And do we have any technical problems that we could fix up, Ush? Maybe reinstall the weapons defense system that we scrapped when we 'moved in.'

You have enough money to get some fixed weapons on the base, yes.

Anything else that is wrong with the base, tech wise? I know we nabbed parts from Newhaven that repaired some of the junked stuff at the base.

I also think jak's got a point - we need to equip the Epireans with something, even if it is only to make the factions we approve of more powerful than the rest.

Well, we've all got our blasters, but we could pull a Drakkon and purchase blasters for the Epireans that are loyal to us. Fixed guns on the mountain and blasters for our loyalists would help the Ogros problem, if it comes back.

I would say that vibroaxes for Epireans would be better than blasters...

Is anyone training them, though? It seems Raelle and Dak hasn`t done anything in this downtime yet.

Yeah, I guess higher quality melee weapons would make more sense...

The pirates from Jaglon Beta nabbed all the rest. The mining platform itself got rather shot up in the fight at the time. You guess that the Damagran Government has tried to make use of it since then.

Oh, you could afford that (I don't want to keep literal track of your cash all the time; this isn't D&D). That is ALL your money, btw. You do need it just for general living.

Eh, maybe the automated defenses can wait. Loyal Epireans can make up for it, so the vibro-axes seem like a good investment. I say that Dak and Relle should work with them, since they don't seem to have other plans.
