So if I understand it correctly, there is no way to get to the firer from behind? Then Gallador wil pretend he is withdrawing, than suddenly turn around and drive at the mortar at highest possible speed.

From behind probably would have involved more planning, There probably is a circular route to get around there somehow but right now, not very practical.

Tanic has picked up Dak and Rianna, leaving Xavier and Galder on foot I feel. Gallador now wants to move in; it will he Pilot rolls to drive defensively enough to avoid further shells.

Gallador`s pilot skill is not that high, right? Can I use my Lucky Merit?

I assume it is more benficial than blowing a force point on guidance? I think I spent almost half of my points already, so better to save them a bit.

May as well use the Merit!

Okay then, the Merit! The Force is always with Gallador anyway...

Galder will drag himself from the smoking wreckage of his landspeeder, cursing as he holds his head from a bleeding cut across his temple.

"Zorin wasn't kidding," Galder groans.

He watches as Dak and Rianna nimbly flip onto Tanic's landspeeder as it passes, then looks to Xavier.

"Looks like we're on foot," Galder says. "Come on, let's go, then..."

Galder will chase after the landspeeders, annoyed at being left behind but knowing he probably would not have ended up well trying to follow Rianna's act.

Tanic accelerates to follow Gallador, alert for any fire coming their way, and ready to take evasive action.

Xavier flips up a small piece of debris off of him.

"Very well lead the way hopefully there will be something left by the time we get there," Xavier says as he begins to run with Galder.

"Better than nothing, Xavier," Galder says. "Would you rather be back to doing pointless mercenary work in the Outer Rim?"

"No we much rather fight people worth our time and skill." Xavier says in a calm voice.
