USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (DARK SIDE)- Destiny

Gosh, those spherical ones are nowhere near this high. No, this is a new design, and not designed for Galactic-scale production (way too expensive).

Missile pods are on the shoulders, lasers on the arms, mortar on the back.

Can Gallador crash his speeder straight into this robot, while others jump out of it? Then he plans to go for the arms while others strike from behind.

That's a plan I would characterise as bold and not without possible risk.

It's the 'being in the crashing speeder' part I worry about the most.

I am still a bit unsure as to what we are looking at. Are those giant sized droids or is it a giant vehicle steered by the more common droids?

I meant to jump away from the speeder and leave it on a crushing course into that robot`s chest.

Ahh.

Well there's a balance of risks there; if you do it too far away it can simply shoot the speeder out. But if you bail too close you are putting all your effort into jumping out the speeder whilst the robot is trying to kill you.

Giant droid. Think like the ground-based giant robots from the Terminator films, though on legs rather than tracks.

Well, but it provides a distraction for the droid? We are going to jump out of it anyway, so using speeder seems like good idea.

Can Rand with Lifting help a bit?

You may also wish to consider that you need the speeders...

Help in which way?

Providing additional distraction so we can melee the robot and avoid heavy fire.

Could we use super lift to make the droid trip. And if yes, how many force points would that be?

Other ideas:

Could we force lift/push the mortars or rockets back at the thing.
Could we make the rockets or the mortar on its back explode through shooting, sabre throwing, force pushing.
Cut of its foot?

I'm afraid heavy moving objects are a bastard to Lift, though I might allow something if you blew a ton of points into it.

Can you reflect the rockets- yes, using the alternate use of Lift; remember it costs your action and is no a certain deal, but it IS free. People with good Force Defence do that best.

The munitions are probably not weak spots- as for cutting off its legs, they are thick enough to the point whrre that would just be a dramatic representation of you killing it by inflicting enough damage, rather than being a way to kill it more quickly.

How many points are we looking at, also, could we work together to make it fall?
And would it even help much?

The only way to find out how much damage it can take is to keep damaging it until it falls!

I was more thinking about handicapping it, to make it more vulnerable and less effective offensively.

And is it possible to share the cost of lifting in a joint effort?

Let's try sabering the missile pods?

Or maye you could target it's optical sensors to make it blind?

Then go hack and slash all over it's head if it has one. 😛

I really wouldn't be surprised if taking out the optical sensors somehow made the thing more accurate...

Oh god, don't give him any ideas.
