Also just kinda wanting to throw this one out there, but if the Lady is looking for the genetic locked portion of the Crystal then shouldn't we be wondering how she plans on opening it. If it can only be opened by a living genetic sample of Kuylen?

Excellent question.

I quess relative of Kuylen wouldn`t be enough to open it?

Nope.

Ush is there anyway the people with Fix-it can think of to get past a genetic lock without having a living sample of the person?

Not if it has been done properly.

And Xavier takes it that Kuylen is the type of man to make sure that it is done properly.

So then Xavier will take this one step further and expand on it to the rest of the group.
Xavier had been sitting on a rock thinking to themselves.

So it is agreed we think there is more to the story then what we know

"Agreed there is more," Xavier says calmly before relaying his thoughts to the group.

"We think we may have an answer to our predicament and one that could be very useful. We know that if this was done properly then only a living sample can open it. That can mean one of two things, the Lady either has such a sample or she has found an alternate way of opening it. No matter what we don't have either so if we are to get this information we will need to get a hold of and use whatever method she is. Which means we need to be able to stay close to her."

"Now only Galder can answer this but from what We've gathered Kuylen does not seem like the type of person to put all his plans and hopes into one data crystal. So we think we need to copy the crystal and give it to the Lady cause at this point in order to get to the information we need her."

Xavier looks at Galder, "Galder I know you do not feel strongly about this but I think there is more to the secrets of Kuylen then this crystal. I also know you've been looking for a way to search for your former Master. If the Lady does have a genetic sample of Kuylen that can work that very well may mean he is alive. Then this may be the lead you've been searching for, but we need to get close to her, we need to manipulate her until we can obtain that which you desire."

"Xavier talks sense. Can we all agree on that course of action?"

"I agree."-Speaks Gallador, considering Xavier`s words.

"Lady may well underestimate us. I know a lot about ancient stories..."

"I don't know about Adelmo. I don't like her, and I don't trust her. But remember what happened last time we went looking for Kuylen?" Rianna says.

"Copy the crystal and keep a copy for ourselves. I've been saying we should do that. Got any bright ideas how to hold off a pirate fleet by ourselves, though, Galder? I doubt Kuylen could do that if he just dropped from the sky. If we want our base to stay intact - and I don't think I have to remind you what happened leading up to us getting it - we don't actually have much choice but to deal with Adelmo."

She pauses for a moment.

"But only for now. Make sure the pirates aren't going to destroy Epireus, and then go after Kuylen. Whatever that info is, she can't get it either. She may not even know it's there, just that there's something important on the crystal."

And guys, Rianna's not sure who she agrees with or wants to side with yet. She doesn't like Adelmo, no. But she doesn't at all care about Kuylen possibly being back. The only thing she's really opposed to (and this one she'd be violently opposed to) is allowing Rand to take charge.

So, frankly? She'll side with whoever makes the better offer. She doesn't necessarily want to be someone who does nothing but kill everything forever, you know.

How does Rand's megalomania relate to Adelmo and Kuylen?

This is complicated, but Rand will always want to plan to get back on top.

Of course, Rand and Gallador have highest Jedi Lore, and best social set of entire group, so they are in good position to influence any course of action.

Xavier doesn't really care what happens, who is in charge, or who dies he is after all very detached from the world. He does however feel a certain need to take the most logical path given the situation he is put into.

With hostility, really.

So Rand doesn't really like the thought of Kuylen or the Lady taking control of this group?

Of "his" group you mean 😛

Indeed.

But Rand may prefer to work for someone else for a time to leaderless state....

Well it really isn't his group anymore from what Xavier can tell 😛

And I assume Adelmo is less of a leader and more of an employer

Dak looks at Galder, arms crossed. "My friend, I remember Kuylen. I understand why you want to go look for him. But for now... we need to use Adelmo to stay alive. After she's aided us against the pirates... we can see about searching for Kuylen.

"And for Adelmo to aid us, we need to give her the crystal. Copy it for ourselves, and give her the other."
