Did anyone come asking for him?

I am not sure how to phrase this. Was Mirani the type to take this way out? I mean, I know suicide is not right, but was there something wrong with the suicide? What is Jelena uneasy about?

i.e. Could this have been a set up? or an actual suicide.

Andro didn't really know him well enough to make a call like that. But no, no-one came asking for him or any such thing.

And you don't know what you are uneasy about; these feelings never come with a guidebook.

"Hmm. I don't see any note. No 'tell my family X', or last minute confession. Especially the confession. I mean, if you're going to go, why not take the guy that put you there with you? Di you hear anything at all Sunda? Was it possible that he knew you were coming and left before you got there?"

(Ush, where on his head is the wound, what hand is the blaster in, and what kind of blaster is it?)

It is a heavy blaster, easy to purchase almost anywhere; it is in his right hand and the shot was through the mouth.

Sunda heard nothing, which is why he sabred through the door.

Gallagher, if he knew about Mirani's death, would have some strange thoughts on the matter regarding visions...

"I see," Gallagher says. "So you are inviting my friends to observe how you manipulate these Senators towards your own goals. Very arrogant of you, Sienar. Will I be attending?"

"You think in very simple terms, Gallagher. How you feel I can maniuplate the Senators as a group whilst they all interqact with each other is beyond me. No, I invited them because it would be unseemly to have Jedi on the planet and not invite them, and also because they cannot decline, and so attending will take up their time. And perhaps also because I want them to learn something of the situation, in which I admit there is perhaps a little vanity. There's not much point me pulling off my brilliant plan if they are too ignorant to see what I have done, is there?

"You... will not be attending. Nor will I. But we shall still see what goes on."

"Forgive me if I seem stupid to you, Sienar, but I am rather unsure of myself, in these times of crisis," Gallagher says, annoyed that Sienar continues to correct him. "What will we be doing during the reception?"

"Watching," says Sienar. "And you hsve much to learn and little time, so I am brusque because I must make up for the years in which you have been allowed to stultify in the Temple. Now. What have you been thinking about?"

"I... thought about the incident," Gallagher says. "With my sister."

"And?"

"I uncovered... that I was the one who killed my sister's killer," Gallagher says. "An act of vengeance is unbecoming of a Jedi, but... it happened just the same. You wanted me to remember it, didn't you?"

"I do want you to remember everything that happened, yes. To remove the self-imposed blocks that the Council persuaded you was in your best interests. Still, you have far to go.

"Come walk with me, Gallagher. I have people to see before things become too busy. We can discuss matters of interest along the way."

Meanwhile, the rest of you have... well, a dead body, and little else.

What's the plan?

"My vision, then?" Gallagher asks. "There was more to discuss there..."

"A message the Force delivered to you, Gallagher, albeit in a confused form tdue to yuor lack of focus. It is for you to understand. Still, I will comment where I can on parts that concern you."

"You feel that I am still not prepared to discuss the... incident," Gallagher says, "so I will ask about another part. I saw searchers in a desert full of sharp stones... they were looking for someone and the secret he held. That secret... it made me feel greatly alarmed, panicked. I could understand what the secret was; the words were incomprehensible. I don't suppose you could make sense of this?"

"Well, unless we can think of more to investigate here, which we probably should, we should probably inform the proper authorities." (What is the Jedi's authority to investigate a scene like this? Would we get in trouble for moving things around?)

It's your case. move what you like!

"Strange words spoken in a Desert? Rather vague, Gallagher."

"I know... but I became so alarmed upon hearing them," Gallagher says. "They spoke of something that should never have been heard again... I'm not sure what to make of it, but it seems like a warning."
