USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (JEDI)- Purity

Looks like we will have to do some sleuthing at the reception tonight, then.

Always lots to do at a social occasion.

What conclusions have you guys reached so far?

Seinar is pulling all the strings he can to block and or otherwise frustrate our investigation, through mind games and legal blocks. He's so confident that his plan will go off no matter what, I almost thought he would lay it out for us in his office. Andro, at least, is also working under the assumption that Seinar is keeping us from Gallagher to give him time to turn him to the dark side. I am beginning to wonder if Gallagher is a bonus game to him, or part of the master plan somehow.

It would have been exceptionally difficult to make him part of the master plan.

"It was a moment of weakness... but I should have apprehended him, not murdered him," Gallagher says. "It brought me down to his level, cutting him down. I... I did cut him down, didn't I? I cannot remember clearly, I always seemed to remember you doing it, or Fenring, or Vale..."

"That is for you to remember. It is it always wrong then, if a Jedi kills someone? It strikes me that they do that rather a lot."

"No, not always," Gallagher says. "But I struck out of anger and want of revenge. Jedi should never do such things, and it is regrettable that I have. I will not let it dominate my life, though."

"What if he fought back?"

"Then who attacked first?" Gallagher asks. "If I attacked, then he was shooting in self-defense... but if he shot first, then it was I who was acting in self-defense. A Jedi should only attack in self-defense."

"Do Jedi never mount attacks of their own then?"

"They do when it is in the best interest of public safety," Gallagher says. "Or when the person they are attacking is likely to attack them if they don't do anything. So that is, in a way, self-defense."

"In a way? That sounds like something that can be twisted in any direction- a point of view. Perhaps 'in a way' someone who cut down someone the way you say happened was killed in self-defence."

Frustrated with himself and his situation, Gallagher reaches up and massages his temples.

"I had the Sith in mind," Gallagher says. "The Jedi would attack the Sith to prevent them from putting into motion horrible plans for the Galaxy."

"And perhaps you attacked a murderer for the same reason."

I feel we should be doing some prep before we go to this senate thing.
What do we want to accomplish? Is there anything specific we need to learn?

I think we should get details from the Senators about what Sienar is trying to achieve with them all being here. Maybe it will give us some clues towards what his plan is.

Also, mingle and make friends with Senators so they can help us out here, if we need it.

And figure out why Nebb is here! I have a bad feeling about that since Lamella doesn't have a lot of business here.

He's a member of the Poverty Commission; it's a noteworthy Senatorial position.

You will indeed get a chance to meet personages at the reception.

Synchrohnising with Gallagher so I cnanot move you straight there. Are there any resources you wish to make use of to try and get some ideas about Sienar's plan?

Are all of the Senators present on the Poverty Commission?

And since we were some of the Jedi sent to Droben, do we know Senator Andran?

I think Roan should maybe contact his father at CorSec to see if he could help us with ideas for our investigation, while Jelena wants to contact her Master for advice.

Yes, the whole point is that the Poverty Commission is meeting here.

And no, none of you know Andran (a Master might have done), you just know he;s very critical of the administration.

This is indeed a good time to consult with Mentors.

(Andro is almost dreading it, but he will contact Master Tinn and relay the whole story.)
