This is all too easy. Andro thinks to himself, now constantly fearing Seinar's manipulations. But his style is to face things head on, so up the stairs....

Then I'm confused because you said that Jelena heard the comm but i couldn't despite the fact that we should be in the same place?
Anyway, we should go ofter Andro. So to the basilica...

You should only be concentrating on what is happening to you, not others. Andro is out of sync with you.

You have come up now into what must be very near the top of the Basilica, Andro. THis is a very large and tall room, not unlike the great hall, buit dark and gloomy, mostly of black and grey metal. Rough industrial walkways line the sids and are above you, and between them there are large vats of bubbling liquid.

(Anyone around?)
Andro gapes a moment at the sight before him. This is nowhere near what he was expecting, whatever he might have been expecting.

(Let's explore. Is there anyoen around he cna see or sense? Any idea what the stuff is? Is any container labeled? Any desks/offices/terminal he cna try to access?)

You do sense life in here- someone above you. And danger.

Moving upo a level, you take a look at one of the vats. Acid, you think? And something disintegrating rapidly in there. A body.

(Any idea who it is? Male, female, race? Andro will lean toward it being Kathya unless evidence suggests otherwise. And is this the Danger from above he sensed? If so, he'll climb down and explore more of the place. Are there more bodies in vats? Othwise, if danger is sensed above, look up and see where someone might be hiding.)

You can't tell, because the acid has done a good job of destroying it, and continues to do so. You don't see any others.

You look up at her before she starts speaking.

"I suppose you think this is some sort of destiny," says Kathya, a pistol levelled at you from a higher walkway.

"Andro tries to hide any surprise, "You're under arrest."

"Do you seriously still think that this is ever going to be about arrest? There's only one way this can end. One side must destroy the other."

As he responds, Andro slowly draws his saber and ignites it. "Yes, I know that. But I must still try. There is still a possibility you can get out alive. Come with me, there may still be time. As I said before, we will do everything we can to protect you." He gestures toward the bubbling liquid, "If not, you may as well dive right in, because Seinar is done with you and you can't defeat me."

"There was never any time, Jedi! From the moment I was his, there was nio way out. You cannot protect me. And... perhaps you are right, I cannot defeat you. It worried me. But... you have come alone! What an unexpected surprise! Why would you do such a thing?"

"The others are busy. I wanted to find you quickly, before you were retired from Seinar's service."

"Ah. Well, you see, I am not so stupid," she says, pushing a button on her commlink. Doors set into the walls at the end of many of the walkways open up, and you hear a series of metallic treads. "I brought some gifts, a courtesy present we got as a result of our massive payment to tyhe Techni Union."

"Apparently, I am." He sighs, realizing now why it was so easy to get up to this room. "Fine. We'll go together!" And as he shouts the last few words, he gathers all his strength, grabs hold of the Force with all his might and leaps for the walkway Kathya is perched on. Whatever's coming will have to shoot at her if they shoot at him.

(Andro has Great Leap [1], can he make it?)

Yes you can. However, a bunch of Mark II (i.e. Super) Battle Droids are marching through the doors, and Kathya has positioned herself somewhere where they all have a filed of fire.

At this point, I will have to ask you how comfortable you are with the combat rules... and to seelct your starting schticks, please!

Roan and Jelena, you have arrived at the front lobby. Like Andro before you, you stop as you come to the lobby guards, and like Andro yuo are surprised when they do not stop you or ask for your sabre, but just gesture for you to go through.

Jelena is immediately suspicious that the guards do not ask to collect their lightsabers as they have before.

"This is some sort of trap," Jelena says. "We must make haste to Kathya's quarters, then to find Gallagher with Sienar. Andro may be in grave danger!"

Can Jelena sense anything out of place? She will try the comlink to Andro again as she runs.

Nothing out of place, no contact with Andro, and a very bad feeling about... pretty much everything.

And so Jelena would be unable to distinguish from her bad feelings whether or not Kathya's quarters would be the right place to start looking for Andro?

It is your intuition, not your instincts, that you have a bad feeling; about the events of the near future.

Then it is to Kathya's quarters that Jelena will sprint with all the speed she can muster, thinking that Andro must have checked there first and could still be there.
