Well here's the thing. Godric wasn't in the original books. They made his character up specifically for the show. So in the books Russell was and is the oldest vampire undisputed.

HBO though made him up to put their own spin on things, which has worked out pretty alright so far. But technically in the books, Godric doesn't exist.

I myself didn't like it.

Russell was the best character of this season (my favorite is still godric but he was in it so little I don't even consider him) so I am glad they didn't kill him off. He stole the show imo.

Yeah it was a fair episode. I was expecting something more, but still a fair episode.

Do you know how to access/down-load torrents? If so, you can get each episode the day after it airs, sometimes that same night.

I recall you saying once you use Ubuntu, it comes with "Transmission", a torrent program(a good one too). PM if you want to know how/more.

The first fifteen minutes were horrible, original Sci-fi movie horrible. Cheesy effects. Cheesy dialogue. Cheesy makeup. Even the concept was cheesy. Oh, Tara is now a lesbian cage fighter? Groan. That was a mediocre, borderline terrible season premiere.

You can watch the second episode online on HBOcanada if you have an HBO subscription... I don't know about the states, but surely you can as well.

Yeah, I have no hopes for this season. Everyone apparently has to be special in some fashion and the peeps with some morals are now ****ed up.

I wasn't impressed with the first episode. I thought the first part was stupid.
