True Blood

First two eps were pleasantly awesome. Unlike werewolves and werepanthers ball has a good take on the coven of witches. To make this interesting he had to make them a threat to vampires unlike the other two I just mentioned.

Second ep was cool and all, but Erik would have snapped all their necks in seconds w/o PIS.

Instead he lets them join hands and start chanting...come on.

This is how these characters usually interact and the fact erik is too overconfident. I think it was awesome what she did to him. He looked scared out of his mind and is far better than cue sticks by Tara beating up werewolves.

When has Erik ever shown to be overconfident? Anyway, this had nothing to do with confidence, it was just stupid, he let them chant while he was just holding Tara...wtf.

We saw how seriously he took the idea of necromancers when Bill brought it up. Erik would have snapped all their necks in seconds, but I guess the story has to go on.

It's a core part of his character. He sat there and didn't take them seriously and it cost him. Had Tara not interfered and had Lafayette not joined the circle they wouldn't have been able to do what they did.

Had Erik killed them instead of toying with them yes he could have but his overconfidence cost him.

Except that it's not.

What are some examples of his overconfidence?

Exactly, PIS.

You're wrong, quan, you know, and I know it.

His dealings with Lafayette, Sookie, and Bill.

He got there assessed the situation and didn't take them as seriosuly as he should have and when tara interceded it gave them the moment to function as a unit and defeat him.

He was overconfident with any of them. He used all of them as he wanted, his only mistake was trusting Bill.

He held Tara and stared at them while they chanted...

They do the same bs on Vampire Dairies. Obviously PIS off Eric / Daemon / whoever is more than capable of blitzing a witch pretty effortlessly.

Did you mean he wasn't ? I think he was overconfident and yes he trusted Bill but that's a bit naive and stupid. Bill seems to have as many secrets as Erik does nowadays and even though he's a more sympathetic character than Erik is his love of Sookie knows no bounds and Erik's attempt at her makes him a prime target.

'm not a believer in pis. I won't ever use it for or against someone. I'm pis-free.

Yes, I meant wasn't. He's never been overconfident, if anything, he's one of the most devious and best strategist shown on TB, as shown with his dealings with Russel.

I'll pis on you.

Bill is bitchmade. Vamps with balls: Erik, Russel, Godric.

He's cunning that's for sure. But still with regards to human beings he's very overconfident.

Godric was my personal fave with russell a close second. I hope russell makes a comeback.

I don't really care for Bill but for some reason I don't care for erik either. I like them on the show just not for me.

tonight's show had some cool humor..

overall good, but should have been better..

I wish they would stop acting like guns with wooden bullets are a threat for vampires, sure it works if they don't know the bullets are wooden and allow you to shoot them, but they can move faster than your eyes can see...

Yup, I find it very annoying.

Sophie Ann, 500 years old and couldn't blitz away? ***** please.

Why did you have to bring up Sophie Ann? 🙁

i can't wait until eric remembers who he is so he can start to kill people..

This season is awesome.

Damn. They completely changed bills character. He starting to sound like russel. Acting like a b!tch and boning his own flesh and blood.

Jason is still the best character on the show despite what they're doing it him.

Eric drunk off Fairy blood was also pretty hilarious. "Catch me"
