True Blood

Sam is awesome... Russel was a villain he played his part well but it was time for him to die. I'm glad it was Eric offing him.

He's also the most stupid. Could have turned into a blue whale and crushed all.

Not sure if serious

Again, not sure if serious...

I stopped watching halfway through this season because frankly it was terrible, but I'll watch the first two episodes of the next season to see if the new show runner has an idea of how to make a compelling tv show (which apparently is something Alan Ball forget somewhere between Six Feet Under and True Blood).

Now REALLY REALLLLY not sure if serious

No, it wasn't time for him to die. He was best part of show. I might not watch next year.

Sam's kill was LoL worthy, about the only good thing this season.

Since Russell had been turned to shit this season, completely not surprised he went out in lame and retarded fashion.

No, Russell's impact was greater than any character ever on the show as a season antagonist. Alan Ball kills characters off so crappily you wonder what's his friggin problem.

Russell was both lame and retarded this season; nothing like the charismatic villain of S3. Just going to have to accept this and move on. He was turned to shit and died in a non epic and totally forgettable fashion.

He was a psicho and needed to die. I don't get this infatuation with murderers not even fictional ones. He needed to die already and I'm glad he did got killed. I watch this show for Sookie, Bill and Eric and the other humans/supernaturals. Villains are fun for a while but once they've serve their purpose they must die or go away.

I could not get into this show when it first aired. Friends with the Dvd's for season 1-4 lent them to me. I know why i could not watch it,the show does more things bad than it does good, but what it does good, it does real good. This show kind of makes me mad to sit through, knowing it could be a great show instead of a barely decent one. Season one was its high point, if you can call it that, but the show never ever handled multiple plot lines very well. Some were interesting and executed poorly, but most were unnecessary and boring. Watched 4 episodes of season five and was not interested at all, i will wait for the DVD to finish it. They can sure ruin characters on this show, that they are real good at, but who am i to argue with it's success, people love the show. After 5 seasons they must be doing something right for many of it's viewers, just not me.

How old was Roman? Wiki estimates his age as 500 years, but I am not sure whether that's correct or not.

Don't see why the 500ish is not feasible. In TB, age doesn't automatically make you a superior in the hierarchy of The Authority.

True, but Salome's rationale for exhuming Russell was centered on the idea that he had the best shot by far to axe Roman despite the advantages afforded by Salome's proximity to Roman.

True, but the writers of TB are detrimentally retarded.

IIRC, she wanted to distance herself from the backlash and she was a coward at heart when it came to fighting. But I kinda stopped paying attention midway last season, since it was so bad.

True, and what a contagion it's proven to be.

A proper finale for the season would have been for Russell to kill everyone and then migrate to TVD. He and Elijah could have their own spin-off. mmm

Then they go recruit Angelus. excellent
