616 Whiplash and the one from the movie are two separate characters. Or maybe he appeared in that comic that fills the gap between IM1 and IM2 and I don't know about it?

In comics Juggy is invulnerable and doesn't have to breath, yet in the movie he wasn't that powerful.

Now the opposite... Green Goblin being tougher.

Anyway, I'd love to see some panels of Whiplash deflecting the repulsors.

Ahhhh, ok! I figure he had enough time to do it. As soon as he saw Iron Man lift his hand, he knew what was coming...

Same explanation goes for Elektra, so fair enough.

.

Yeah the movie Whiplash was a combination of two characters.

That annoyed the hell out of me.

Tony even tried to sort of shoot him in the face.

So why not leave it on?

But there's something I noticed since I just watched it again. The problems people had with the movie go away the second time.
I actually liked it more now than I did the first time. Little things like the helmet actually go away. Everything felt more natural.

Spoiler:
I understand now that Ivan took off the helmet because War Machine wouldn't stop firing at it and he couldn't see.

Now I will officially say that it is one of the best superhero movies ever.

I'd say 7th best, all time. That's saying a lot for a sequel.

That sounds like even more reason to keep it on.

Except that he could hardly see.

Not to mention any superhero movie.

That's the price you pay to not have bullets entering your face. I'm not saying it was a particularly big thing or messed up the movie or anything for me, but if someone had just tried pulling an Indiana Jones on me I would have just stayed shielded up and hoped my chances of winning were better if I was blind instead of dead.

I'm curious what your ones to top it would be then? If I'd say that was 7th then my list would go like this.

1. Spiderman 2
2. Batman Begins
3. The Dark Knight
4. Iron Man
5. X-Men 2 (aka Wolverine lol)
6. Blade

2 and 3 I'd say are inner changeable but I like origin stories, and the costume better. 😛

Seriously thou looking back at that list I'd actually put Iron Man 2 at number 5, just short of the first but again I prefer origin stories and Iron Man was about the best comic origin protrayal I've ever seen. In that reguard I actually think they did just slightly better than Batman Begins but overall Begins was a better movie. IMO

Ironman2 was better than I thought it would be. I walked out thoroughly surprised.

Ahh yes V for Vendetta another one of the very few comic movies to match or even surpass their comic's appeal. To me V was even better as a movie than the comic and coming from me thats saying ALLOT! I'm quite they Alan Moore fan and it's the only movie made form a comic of his I ever been impressed by.

Yeah, i wasn't familiar with the comic before seeing the movie, but i liked the film so much that i read the comic a week after seeing the movie.

saw it today

8/10

as good as the first if not slightly better

scarlett was looking fine

Has it been stated anywhere if the Mark V(portable suitcase armor) had flight capabilities?

Supposly this movie has the most mistakes of 2010

Me too. I really can't get into tiny little nip-picking of continuity between shots. Some directors like Martin Scorsese do it on purpose, because they want you to notice the editing.
I enjoyed Iron Man 2 just fine.
