Glad they didn't go with that opening. It would have detracted from what Tony was trying to do through the first half of the film, which was keep up a good front while trying to find a cure for his palladium poisoning. Only when he seemed resigned to fate and decided to lose it at his birthday party - that was the time to show him getting stupid.

Besides, where were they going to find the time to build up Whiplash? The opening montage for him was necessary.

Got the bare-bones dvd today.

I got the two disc version just minutes ago. I don't need a digital copy, but I decided to spring for the extras.

Did anyone find the Thor or caps teaser??? Is it even on the disc hidden?
I know if you select play all on the first featurette there is a 1:30 behind the scene of Thor bit at the end of it but that is all I have seen

The features didn't look promising so I skipped. Seeing as how I got a PS3 the day after I guess I should have got the Bluray instead. Oh well, won't make the same mistake when Inception comes around.
