I appreciate that you know the character well, but these sentences here are basically admitting that he's > the caps. Getting wrecked at Mid Herald doesn't mean he's High Meta, especially when you concede that he has the raw power (and more) of God-Cable. An angry pre-shaman Nate, training or no, would tear through any High Meta with impunity. And I'm not an expert on him, but I'm familiar enough with him to say that fairly confidently.

Your right, in the sense that we have seen what an angry Nate Grey can do. And it didn’t wreck through, high metas.

It didn’t work with Sinister as you pointed out.
It didn’t work with Xavier in your match.
It didn’t work with Emma.
It didn’t work on a weaken Exodus.
It didn’t work with Holocaust.
It didn’t work with classic Cable.
It didn’t work with Electro

Crap, I ran out of the only known profiled characters he faced off in battle, let me look for someone stronger then the ones mentioned above. Oh he doesn’t have any. Wait lets go back to feats, an angry Nate Grey performed……nothing beyond High Meta.

If I remember correctly, Fangirl made a trade with Charlotte which takes effect for the last week and the playoffs. Charlotte gets Faust and Morrow next week, Fangirl has them this week.

You remember right. I clarified specifically that the trades are for the week 8 (thus playoffs).

Emma outskilled less experienced Nate, who was barely recovering from Psi-Wars, so the example is bad.
Electro? Lost due to PIS\CIS.
Cable? You yourselves gave that fight as an example of PIS.
Xaver goes as low herald in tier table (though I'm not sure abut that placement).

Can't say that for sure for the others. But there's no proof that he's <Phoenixless Jean in TP\TK powers.

You are still over minding the point of those matches. Did he wreck through those characters? No he didn’t, a character tier is measured by what he can and has bin shown to do.

I imply that it's PIS\CISless tourney, that's all🙂 But then...ton of raw power and horrible lack of skill... I dpon't know what to do.

I'll ask colleague Exodus for his opinion on Nate's tier placement.

PIS less tournament, does not mean idolizing what a character could do. We take what we know about said character, to determine its rank. What determines said tier are its actions and track records.

Incidentally the character I am attempting to draft, has a vary little track record to place him in the same tier as Exodus or Magneto.

I take your words for him being in the same tier as Phoenix-less Jean. In fact, the pick is doubtful, but I can understand it🙂

I actually wish to hear what Exodus, has to say in regards to X-Mans placement. He is either High Meta or Low Herald.

It’s a bit more consequential, because of his little to no training. His rash behavior and outburst of unfocused power severely strains body. Jean doesn’t have to worry about these type abuse, but for Nate. …It farther degrades his body, bringing him that much closer to his death bed. That’s if he tries to match big feats, in comparison to Jean.

That is the consequence of holding more power then his body can handle, and attempting to do more then what he knows.

As I've said a bit above- let's ask colleague Exodus on that point🙂

Nate beat all those guys except for Cable and Electro and in those cases he was holding back for various reasons ... hell he walked straight up to Electro saying he was going to shut his powers off without defending himself, of course he got pwned.

He also stalemated with the Hulk and survived fighting against Thanos in his annual.

To my Knowlege, nearly everyone that isn't canon fodder has survived against Thanos. 💃

Thanos has killed a lot of mainstream guys a few times actually ... they always get brought back to life though.

Many variables, are being overlooked. You don’t even have to go past the Holocaust match to know what Nate can and cant do.

Stalemating the Hulk would mean their was a prolonged even of exchanged blows. As in Sentry vs. WWH. That is a stalemating my friend. Tossing energy with no effect, and having his psi barrier breached does not reflect stalemating. Landing a single sucker punch, does not mean he stalemated the Hulk.

And surviving Thanos is a vary vague description. A weaken Thanos, who is trapped God knows what dimension, had Nate Grey pinned, and scared shitless because his psi armor would soon be broken.

Explain me to my friend, just how unreasonable is my draft?

His draft is more unreasonable than Minion, Sinister, Polaris, any mage, And especially Nimrod.

Ok so I am just re-affirming my draft for week 8

3rd Age Spawn (30)
Pre-Shaman X-Man (30)
OMAC (30)
Sage (20)
Cogliostro (15)

We're dropping Deathlok (20pts) and Punisher 2099 (10pts)

Drafting Iron Man - 30pts (if no one has him yet)
