Notes:
- There's a few versions of Dane Whitman (BK), revolving around different equipment. There's the version with the Ebony Blade, his Avalon equipment (which I actually think is his current iteration), and a time between those two when he just had a metal horse and an energy blade. I'm taking the Avalon period, which is current anyway if I'm right.
- I talked with Newjak extensively about BK, his iterations, and what he should cost (though I did all of my own research). One could make the case for him at 30 points (though just barely), but we both agreed that 25 was more logical. If anyone has objections, I (or NJ) can help to justify him at 25.

It's fairly epic. But I don't have that version of him. Though even with the EB, he'd likely only be 25. Awesome weapon, but Dane is still just a skilled human wielding it. It's like if you or I wielded Mjolnir, but we didn't get Thor's physical stats. We'd be able to do a ton with it, but Iron Man would probably still own us to sh*t. It's also not quite as uber as Mjolnir, btw. Though the energy soak it has is equally as impressive.

20 at the very outside--i wouldn't object to 15--the sword does nothing unless it actually HITS someone, though it is good against magic. again, with the EB he would still lose to cap, batman, wolverine and the like. the sword has no energy or range attacks and has cutting feats below wolvie's claws.
meh, 20 would be all right, but 15 would be fine imo.

it would make a nice bonus weapon for a powerful character, but its range sucks, no energy and the fact that BK can be handled h2h by more skilled opponents makes him 15 in my book. remember we're dealing with just the character and his showings, and nothing DANE himself has done would warrant more than 20 at most with the EB. least imo.

Members seek out to claim, the blades ability to pawn magic beyond the herald class.
You say, Dane is limited to his showings with the blade. But it does not limit the blades function in any shape or form. It may not be a trick of all trades, but it exceeds in its single function.
