It's the only way to measure strength. Which comics do use real world physics. Class 100 for instance states that someone who can lift 200 thousand pounds. That is real world physics. It's the only way we can measure feats by.

Even with it Superman would still take a majority, cause he could dodge it.

Whatever. Enjoy fantasy island.

He tends to brawl though. Later.

You are obviously a marvel fan. evident by your lack of support of evidence. You are also obviously a wonder woman hater.

let me show you an example of why you fail.

let's say you get a shield. like the one in 300. And you stand firm and block a heavy rock being thrown against you. if you are strong enough,a nd the rock isn't beyond your strength, the shield will deflect the rock and you won't budge becuz of your strength.

now let's say you stand and a car going 90mph rams into you. The shield made of pure titanium would be in tact and may even damage the car. but guess what? You, not being strong enough to withstand the impact, would be dead. crushed behind the shield.

LOL. 😆 so u are generalizing all marvel fans as people who cant provide evidence? 🙄 Frankly evidence of what? 😕 All ive bin doin is refuting ur baseless claims. U really are a joker 😂 And to further cement ur utter stupidity, u say that im a wonderwoman hater when i even gave her the win in this thread! 😱 all im doin is pointin out how and why ur logic is faulty on so many different levels. I will gladly do that once again 🙂

U are obviously just very blind or very daft or more likely both. Did u even read my previous posts? Christ!! I have repeatedly asked u to show me proof of the level pure concussive force of the blast!. Without that the scan means.........ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! Let me use ur own examples. If u have a shield like the one in three hundred, and a stone is thrown at u. Depending on ur level of skill and the force with which the rock is thrown u might be able to not only stop it from hitting u but also change its path of travel. Note that this is based of the fact that when u have braced urself and set ur feet for, the force that the rock is thrown with is not enough to knock u off ur feet......Are u beginning to get it now? It is all about the concussive force!!

In ur second example( the car example), there is a clear indication of how much force the car is hitting the human being with and it is clear that a human being cannot withstand such high impact. In ur wonderwoman scan however there is absolutely NO indication of this. So u assuming that it was to such a degree which would make it a greater strength feat than pullling earth is just 😱 😱 😱 😱 Further u comparing it with the second scan is foolish as well because in the second scan her body was in a completely different and disadvantageous position which made it difficult for her to stay upright

There all kinds of things in comics that if they happened IRL, the earth would be destroyed... So don't even start that crap with me. Just because the earth wasn't destroyed by the sheer mass of the snake doesn't mean it wasn't more massive than the earth. For an example of comic physics, all those times superman flies across Metropolis to stop a bullet, would have wreaked havock on the surrounding people and buildings.

DC explains away alot of that stuff. Now no where does the text say the snake was as massive as the earth. So to conclude that it was would be wishful fanboy thinking. Given the fact that it wasn't destroying the earth completely, the logical outcome is that is was only maybe a tenth to a twentieth that of the earth.

Where did you come up with those figures?

I never said it was more massive, only that you can't prove that this feat was any less of a feat than WW's feat. Fanboy? I don't like thor. I really don't like any hero more powerful than superman. Superman is the ultimate hero in my eyes. No one should be stronger, faster, tougher, no one would be superior at anything if I had my way... I don't though, so it doesn't matter. I don't debate using that bias though. If someone is clearly more powerful, or even marginally so, I will admit it.

There is no possible way one can look at that snake and even think it comes close to moving the earth out of it's orbit. Do you know the kind of power it takes to do that?

These are all the forces one has to fight just to nudge the earth.

http://www.greatdreams.com/earth_orbit.htm

I don't understand why the snake couldn't be heavier than the earth in a COMIC.
The earth would implode if it was heavier, no it wouldn't because hey it's in a COMIC.
if the writer say it's heavier or has more mass than earth it is. (not that it is not even sure how much it weighs or how much mass it has)
You may like it or not, maybe it's bad written but hey didn't know there was a law for COMIC book writers to follow some kind of physics or math script.

Now pulling the earth with a lasso is just as stupid if you ask me.
But hey who care's it's in a COMIC.
Trying to proof how smart you are by bringing up numbers or weight and mass and stuff to try and show your right is just showing people how dumb you really are, because you can't bring normal physics or math in comics, because most things you see in comics isn't even real.
That's the whole reason for these SUPER hero comics.
They try to keep thinking up new and greater feats every time.
To keep it interesting.

now for the fight I say thor 6/10.
He won't beat her easy that's for sure.

Pulling a giant snake off of the earth isn't stupid but pulling the earth with a lasso made from an elder goddesses clothes is? The writer never said the snake was as heavy as the earth. If he did, we wouldn't be having that discussion. even if it were as heavy as the earth, moving the earth out of it's orbit requires far more power than lifting something as heavy as the earth off of the earth. have a good night.

I said pulling the earth with a lasso is JUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as stupid.
Because both of those things are not humanly possible, but hey who care's I don't look at these comics to see iff I can see a thing in it that can't be real I look and buy these comics to just have fun reading them.

And is this a lifting contest or a pulling contest???
It's a fight iff I'm not mistaken and since both characters never really faced one and other and are from other comic book company's everybody has the right to say who they think will win this fight.
You have your opinion that WW will win fine, other people think Thor wins fine.

Maybe you should do something positive with all that boiled anger and frustration inside you.
You know it aint health 😉

You might be onto a good idea.

That sounds hot.

I'm sorry you thought you were important enough to make me angry at you. You took my response to your post as anger. Not.

Thor wasnt just lifting its dead weight. He had to break its grip and hence overcome its own immense strength in addition to overcoming its weight. So yeah the feats are comparable.

No they are not. At all. When you move the earth out of orbit, it requires insane amounts of power. You actually have to change the orbit of the entire solar system becuz all of the planets orbits affect each other. hvnd.

No don't think I did, just the whole time you keep responding to people. My posts aren't to upset people.
And hey I seem important enough for you to keep responding.

Where F is the gravitational force exerted at radius r, by object M and m on each other. And G is the universal gravitational constant.

It doesn't equate to hundreds of earths. 😐

The F between the Earth and the Sun equates to ~3.52×10^22 N. To cause the Earth to move away from the Sun, one must exert more F than this in the opposite direction.

Which is actually less than lifting the equivalent of a third the Earth's mass against acceleration due to gravity at the surface of the Earth (~1.11×10^25.)

Although WW probably wins...

People Thor is not stronger than Superman..they are peers in strength.. Supes is faster while Thor is more powerful.

I was talking about something else entirely but my opinion stays the same. Thor beats WW down due to his experience and strength.

I really don't know why you would stray off the topic of the forum in a debate. 😕

His strength is not much greater than hers and his experience is countered by her superior skills. Add in the flight and speed advantage for Diana, and that is why she has the edge in *this particular match up.*

Who is talking about moving earth? What the hell does that have to do with ANYTHING?
