Wonderwoman versus Thor

Started by Silent Master21 pages

Again, all they did was counter the forces that were causing it to spin out of control just enough to slow it down and in the end GL had to save them.

They in no way held the Earth in orbit under just their power/strength.

I am not arguing the point any further, so you can stop quoting me now... It is so far off topic that it is idiotic at this point to continue.

On topic: Thor wins.

If the force was enough to cause the earth to spin out of orbit, that means it was enough to counter and over come the force of the SOLAR SYSTEM. The fact that they evenheld it or slowed it down briefly, is the feat. you can't take it away. you can't lesson it. And I've posted science fact after fact.

Yes becuz thor is so much faster than wondy. His reflexes are just beyond hers. LOL. He can fly. He shows his skill more than she. His fist hit harder than sun amped superman. And he even has quantifiable strength feats that dwarf hers. LMAO. 😆 😆 😆

They wouldn't need to counter the entire force in order to slow it down, Like I said, if the force needed to spin the Earth out of Orbit is 100, all they would have to do is counter enough of it so that it doesn't reach 100, for all we know the Earth was still being affected by 99.9999999999999999999999% of the force needed.

Yep.

Thor pushed back the world engine 😐

True.
Only a fraction of Earths rotational forces were needed to be countered in order to slow the Earth and correct the situation. They did not fully overcome Earth's inertia.

Do you know how much energy it takes to alter earth's orbit. even.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 is ridiculously off the scales. Scientist say it would take Thousands of years or more, with huge asteroids to be able to chagne the earths orbit.

Meh. Do I know how much energy it takes to alter earth's orbit? Nope. NOR did I claim to.

I don't really care about Asteroids and Time as both fail to accurately measure power of Wonderwoman and Thor here.

My only point was simply that they came nowhere close to slowing the earth by any signifigant degree...so it fails as a measurement of strength. Not to mention that its still more of a flight and manipulation of force feat...than it is one of true physical combat strength.

It's an particularly bad measurement of hand to hand power which is the purpose of this thead.

The more important question would be, do you know exactly how much force Wonder Woman was generating during your example?

If I take the road that she was only pulling one tenth, It would still be in the quintillions of tons. Of course Someone who was only one tenth as strong as Superman would give him the fits that she has.

I've already posted that flight has nothing to do with strength in DC. The characters actually do better standing around than flying. Check my example of the shield of Aegis.

Where do you get the idea that any of them were generating anywhere near even 1% of Earth moving force?

Where do you get the idea that that is the premise that I"m coming from. I"ve already stated that even if it were .00000000001 of the force that they generated, it would still be off the scales given the massive amount of force the solar system exerts to keep everything in orbit.

Thor 6/10

I asked you if you knew exactly how much force she was generating and you mentioned 10%, so is that supposed to be 10% of Earth moving force or just 10% of .0000000000000000000000000001% Earth moving force?

No. I said that if I were to say that she was just generating Ten percent of the .oooooooooooo1 Earth moving force, it would still be off the charts. The solar System's gravity well that works in unison with every other planets orbit to keep every planet in orbit is Out right nearly incomprehensible. Of course we know she contributed far more than 10 percent. Or she would be such a nusance to Superman in a fight.

Exactly, it's an unquantifiable feat. It's right up there with the time that Thor and Herc closed a rip in space by punching each others fists. Unquantifiable feats aren't proof of being able to move a planet mover...
